Lin Han listened quietly to Gong An's plan, occasionally offering her own ideas for his consideration.
During breakfast, the three of them finalized their plan.
In order to escort them away, Lin Han had no choice but to check out of the hotel and leave the area under the surveillance of the yamen.
"My lord, you see, I told you he was a spy. Look, they're all preparing to escape." The general immediately reported to the county magistrate after receiving the news that day.
The magistrate pondered for a moment before ordering a city-wide search.
This put Lin Han in a difficult position. With a city-wide search, it would be quite challenging for the three of them to successfully evade detection.
It wasn't until Lin Han saw the convoy that delivered vegetables to the palace every day that Lin Han suddenly had an idea.
He quickly glued on his fake beard, disguised himself as a young man, and approached the older man who was selling vegetables.
"Brother, are these dishes going to be sent to the palace?" Lin Han asked his brother in a low voice.
"Ah, um, yes, what's up?" The guy was carrying vegetables by himself when someone suddenly appeared and spoke to him, so he quickly responded.
"Hey bro, do you guys need any help with your vegetable delivery? We're looking for something to do lately." Lin Han snapped his fingers, keeping his eyes fixed on the man.
The older brother's eyes, which had been clear, suddenly widened, and he nodded: "Okay, let's go."
Seeing that it was working, Lin Han quickly called over the other two people, and the three of them each pulled a cart of vegetables and headed to the palace.
They encountered several soldiers searching along the way, but none of them paid any attention to the few people carrying vegetables, and they all passed by them.
"When did you learn hypnosis?" Xiao Meng was amazed by Lin Han's skillful hypnosis technique.
"I don't know, maybe I already knew it before?" Lin Han's memories of the past were blank, so she could only attribute it to what she knew before she lost her memory.
"You really are multi-talented." Xiao Meng was becoming more and more accepting of Lin Han's ability to show off a skill every now and then.
Soon, the four arrived at the palace gate. The guards at the gate saw that they were delivering vegetables, checked their passes, and then looked around the trailer before letting them pass. They didn't notice Lin Han and the others at all.
After they entered the palace, Gong An felt it was unreal; it turned out that entering the palace was so easy.
"Alright, that's all I can take you this far. I'm heading out now. See you again someday." Lin Han arrived at the kitchen, unloaded the goods with the man pulling the cart, and then bid them farewell.
On her way out, Lin Han happened to run into Wei Yuchen entering the palace.
Lin Han was pushing the trolley, intending to walk straight ahead, when Wei Yuchen walked towards her.
The moment Lin Han saw him, she wanted to turn around and leave, but in order not to attract attention, she respectfully lowered her head and dared not look at him.
Even with her extreme caution, she still managed to catch Wei Yucheng's attention.
"You, come here," Wei Yucheng said, looking at Lin Han who had her head down.
"What should I do? What should I do? We're going to be found out!" Lin Han was panicking. She had said she wouldn't come, but now they were meeting here. How embarrassing!
But circumstances forced Lin Han to move slowly.
“Raise your head,” Wei Yuchen said, looking at Lin Han, whose head was almost touching the ground.
At this moment, Lin Han was frantically making a decision in her mind, whether to raise her head or not, but in the end she chose to raise her head.
The reason is simple: Wei Yuchen called him by his name directly, so why wouldn't he look up? Being a phone addict is really tough.
"Hi, what a coincidence, we meet here." Lin Han awkwardly looked up and greeted Wei Yuchen.
Wei Yuchen looked at Lin Han, whose face was covered with a fake beard and stained yellowish-orange, and suppressed a laugh before taking her away.
