It wasn't until evening that Wei Yuchen returned to the palace.
When I arrived, I saw Lin Han sitting on the tatami mat reading a book.
"Are you hungry? Why don't you eat first?" Wei Yuchen took off his coat, casually placed it on the chair, and asked Lin Han.

Lin Han smiled upon hearing this, took Wei Yuchen's hand, and sat down at the dining table.
"Then congratulations in advance, my Emperor," Lin Han said to Wei Yuchen with a grin.
"Congratulations in advance, my Empress." Wei Yuchen instructed the servants to serve the dishes, her eyes filled with a smile.
The servants served the food quickly, and soon the table was filled with delicious dishes. Both of them were of royal lineage and observed table manners very well, without saying a word during the meal.
It wasn't until after dinner, when Wei Yuchen was taking a walk in the courtyard with Lin Han, that he asked Lin Han, "I think I saw Gongsun Yue today. What's she doing in Wei Kingdom?"
At this point, Lin Han scratched his head sheepishly and then explained the whole story to Wei Yucheng.

Wei Yucheng's original plan was to first help Lin Heng win over his wife, and then use that to obtain his permission to let Lin Han go abroad.
But now that Lin Han is right in front of him, the plan can be postponed for the time being, and he can deal with those civil and military officials first.

Only then did Lin Han realize the reason for his resentful gaze these past few days, and she quickly asked with a smile, "Then would you be willing to hold a banquet now and introduce me, your fiancée, to all the civil and military officials?"
Upon hearing Lin Han's words, Wei Yucheng immediately nodded, her tone filled with excitement: "Of course I'm willing."
