Cen Yu quietly clenched her fist.
Cen Lan asked, "Where did the concept of 'pure woman' come from?"
Cen Yu told the truth: "It was Ai Cao who suggested it. She convinced me, so based on my own experience, I wrote this proposal out of this idea."
Cen Lan nodded slightly.
Cen Yu proposed a women-only hotel – more like a small sanctuary for women than a hotel.
It wasn't that Cen Yu's proposal contained any specific details, but rather that Cen Yu didn't know how much it would cost to build a hotel, nor how much she would need to raise in the angel round to bring her idea to fruition.
Cen Yu only proposed a small investment to Cen Lan.
It's only enough to build a small shelter.
And being purely female is the only way this sanctuary can continue.
Cen Lan said, "Tell me about your own experiences." She picked up her teacup and said gently, "I haven't heard you talk about them yet."
Cen Yu pursed her lips and hesitated before saying, "A few days ago, when we left that villa..." She lowered her head and spoke softly, "I really thought I had no home anymore."
Cen Lan was taken aback.
Cen Yu lowered her head and continued, "Dad is dead, Mom is in a coma, and the maids in the house have run away. I haven't paid Feng An's wages either. She's only willing to stay because of our many years of friendship..."

In essence, there is no difference between the two situations.
Cen Lan sighed softly. She put down her teacup, gently opened her arms, and hugged Cen Yu, who was looking down.
Cen Lan said, "You've done very well."
She gently patted Cen Yu's back, letting her daughter, whose emotions were somewhat unstable due to staying up late, cry loudly in her arms. Cen Yu only cried a few times before straightening up, sobbing.
Cen Yu's eyes were slightly red: "I thought I could do better."

After being repeatedly questioned and nitpicked over the past few days, Cen Yu felt inexplicably flattered by Cen Lan's sudden gentleness.
Cen Yu nodded: "Okay!"
Cen Lan turned her head and asked Ai Cao, "You should know that it's not allowed to discriminate based on the gender of employees now. How do you plan to solve the recruitment problem?"
After searching through materials last night, reviewing a large amount of auxiliary data provided by the system, and conducting multiple simulated Q&A sessions with Cen Yufeng, Ai Cao, like Cen Yufeng, is now very familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of this proposal.
Ai Cao calmly said, "Conduct manual screening. Put all the resumes for male applicants into the recycle bin, and then send an email back to add them to the talent pool."
Cen Lan smiled. This method, though simple, was indeed effective.
Cen Lan continued, "Now, let's assume you've already hired your first batch of female employees." She tapped the table lightly twice to draw Cen Yu's attention back, "And for now, let's not consider the hotel's location, rent, renovations, monthly income, and expenses, etc."
"The problems that follow are like spheres in a vacuum, problems that occur under perfect conditions."
Cen Yu sat up straight, a little nervously. Tears that hadn't been completely wiped away blurred her vision, but she quickly wiped them clean.
“An employee suddenly became pregnant,” Cen Lan said calmly. “According to regulations, I cannot fire her, and she will be entitled to six months of paid leave.”
She asked, "What about the responsibilities that should have been hers during this time?"
Cen Yu tentatively suggested the first idea: "Should we hire another one?"
Cen Lan shook her head: "The original employee will return to their post in six months. Are you going to fire this new employee in six months?" She said with a smile, "Of course, the original employee may not come back. You can pay less severance and hire another employee urgently."
“Some companies do do this—they hire temporary workers during this period,” Cen Lan said, then added, “But what if it’s a mid- to high-level employee? How much time does she need to familiarize herself with and develop new business?”
"I'll leave out the losses from this period for now."
Cen Yu pursed her lips.
There are actually other, simpler solutions. For example, other employees could work overtime, the pregnant employee could be reassigned, or she could be given a pay cut and allowed to stay on leave.
But she refused.
Why should they compromise?
Why is it always them who compromise?
Ai Cao asked, "What if we don't hire employees who have plans to have children?"
Cen Lan shook her head again: "It's their freedom, and you can't install surveillance cameras in every employee's womb."
She asked, "You want female employees, but you also want to deprive them of their abilities and rights as women?"
