Chapter 15 The Last Girl in the Universe (15)

The mugwort, which was being secretly criticized by the system, didn't care at all.

Amidst the sounds of the defensive barrier colliding with missiles, she and Xia Moli huddled at the exit, finalizing their battle plan together.

The initial battle plan was rather rough, but thanks to Nana's precise control over the details and her calculations, the plan was able to be effectively executed.

Simply put, they first stage an empty city ruse, pretending that there's no one on the warship. If the enemy gets on board, Ai Cao will knock them unconscious, and Xia Moli will search their memories.

If the other party does not take the bait, Nana will then control the warship to pursue them.

The goal is to get our hands on everything from those three ships on the other side.

Nana's eyes lit up slightly: "I see the ferry ships." Her eyes met the camera in the control room. "Three ships."

Although their small warships cannot accommodate the ferry boats, their larger vessels store several ferry boats.

A ferry can carry five to ten people. Compared to warships, ferry boats have greater maneuverability and are usually the vanguard in breaking through defenses.

“Okay,” Ai Cao said quickly. She fastened her oxygen mask and hid in a corner of the exit. Xia Moli and Nana left together and closed the door.

Nana's voice came through the loudspeaker in the room: "Prepare to open the hatch, Ai Cao, get ready."

The mugwort said "okay".

The hatch opened, and Feng and two men in full metal armor rushed in, guns in hand.

Two were not enough. The mugwort quietly bowed its body.

Twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty.

Artemisia silently counted the number of people entering the room. The exit, which originally could only accommodate three people at most, suddenly seemed a bit crowded.

The hatch closed silently.

Nana's gentle voice rang out: "Warning, the hatch door is malfunctioning. Attempting to open it... Opening failed. Attempting to open it again in one minute and thirty seconds."

The flowing air paused for a moment, then was startled by the sudden burst of artemisia.

She swiftly delivered a flying kick, aiming for the face of the person closest to her. The gun in the man's hand slipped from his grasp, and Ai Cao snatched it without hesitation.

She casually checked the safety of the gun, then turned and smashed the butt of the gun into the head of a guy who was rushing towards her.

The safety latch is open.

Ai Cao licked her lips and picked up the gun.

A minute later, Ai Cao opened the door. Behind her was a tidy exit room and bodies lying on the floor.

The medical robot waiting outside rushed in and dragged away the body closest to the door.

Ai Cao was also dragging one along. This was the one she had picked out from the group, the one with the prettiest clothes and the most patterns: "This should be the leader of this group."

Artemisia then peeled off the man's armor. The man inside the metal armor also had a handsome face. His medium-length black hair softly draped over his beautiful cheeks, like a fragile porcelain doll.

Ai Cao touched the man's face twice, then pinched it before handing it to Xia Moli.

Xia Moli nodded, placed her hand on the man's soft head, and closed her eyes.

She is no longer the person who had just arrived in this world and whose mental energy would weaken after using it even slightly.

Xia Moli quickly reviewed the man's memories and said, "His younger brother is the leader of this pirate group. The two brothers have a good relationship, which is why he helps his brother patrol outside. The exact coordinates of the pirate group's base still need to be compared with the scenes in his memory."

“Such deep brotherly affection,” Ai Cao smiled. She looked at Nana, who was walking over from the other side, and asked, “Nana, what do you mean?”

"Keep this one for now, kill the rest," Nana said with a smile. She carried a medical robot in one hand and dragged a corpse that had just left the area with the other.

Artemisia complained, half-jokingly, "I even made sure to leave some alive."

"Perhaps your room can accommodate thirty people?" Nana smiled.

Ai Cao quickly changed her tune: "They should be able to burn a lot of fertilizer."

She took the initiative and quickly tied the hands and feet of the men on the ground together, strung them together, and dragged them into the crematorium.

When it first started burning, there were some sounds coming from the crematorium furnace.

Mugwort quickly turned the fire up bigger.

The sounds from the crematorium furnace have ceased.

Ai Cao pretended to wipe her forehead, wiping away non-existent sweat: "You scared me."

The system stared in disbelief: "You're the robbers, aren't you?"

Ai Cao curled her lips into a smile: "We were acting in self-defense."

The system muttered, "I've never seen such a defense before..."

Ai Cao stayed by the crematorium furnace, burning all the bodies clean, before returning to the hatch to find Xia Moli.

Xia Moli and Nana are still here.

Xia Moli clutched the man's collar, her eyes tightly shut; Nana gently guided her from beside her: "Xia Moli, now imagine you've entered his mind... You've encountered a mental barrier, but you can break it with just a reach..."

Nana silently raised her head, looked at Ai Cao who stood motionless outside the door, and said in a calm tone, "You heard the sound of the bell. You know that when you hear the third ring, you will open your eyes... Ding, ding, ding."

Xia Moli slowly opened her eyes, and the invisible spiritual blade placed at the doorway slowly subsided.

She smiled at the mugwort and said, "Have you finished burning the body?"

Ai Cao scratched her head in confusion, then looked at the doorway she hadn't dared to go in earlier: "It's all burned."

She stepped over those mental blades and walked to Xia Moli's side.
