Chapter 241 Flying Over the Nursing Home (Part 3)

Xiao Li nodded. That was exactly what she was thinking. If she went to the dining room every day and was watched by everyone, she wouldn't be able to eat.

The dean gave some instructions before leaving, and Xiaoli enjoyed another satisfying meal.

She suddenly wanted to visit Lao Wen, the original owner's close friend, and see how he ate. Having paid a million, he should be able to eat better, right?

Across from her was a four-person room that the dean had once recommended. Sobbing sounds came from inside, and Xiao Li looked over curiously.

A caregiver is feeding Mr. Qian, who is paralyzed. Mr. Qian is having some difficulty controlling his body and is eating very slowly.

Sun Yuan was getting a little impatient. They had been eating for half an hour and there was still more than half left.

"Why don't you just swallow it? What are you doing keeping it in your mouth?"

Old Man Qian blushed slightly. He was both ashamed and angry, so he turned his head away and refused to eat.

Sun Yuan was even angrier, "If you don't want to eat, then don't eat. Who's begging you to eat?"

As she picked up her bowl and prepared to leave, she remembered the big guy who had visited Old Man Qian last time, and she felt a little afraid that he would complain about her.

She lifted her bottom and sat back down. "Do you want some?"

Old Man Qian also remembered how unpleasant it felt to be hungry, so he opened his mouth again, and the two of them started feeding each other again.

Three minutes later, Sun Yuan was almost out of control; she was about to explode.

"Just swallow it already. If you don't swallow it in half a day, I don't have that much time to waste with you."

She forcefully shoved the spoon into Old Man Qian's mouth, making him swallow until his eyes rolled back in his head.

Sun Yuan was still not satisfied, so she fed him bite after bite, and in less than three minutes, the bowl of rice was empty.

"You deserve to be scolded, I have to use my ultimate move."

She triumphantly raised the empty bowl. Old Man Qian, with tears in his eyes and a mouthful of rice still in his mouth, was so angry that he spat it out, splattering it all over Sun Yuan's clothes.

"you……"

Sun Yuan immediately exploded, "You old geezer, you're filthy!"

She stood up and pushed the wheelchair forcefully, moving Old Man Qian to the side. His legs were immobile, so he could only grip the wheelchair tightly with both hands.

His eyes showed a look of horror, but Sun Yuan was still not satisfied and threw the bowl at him.

"Bang……"

The bowl hit Old Man Qian on the head, leaving a large red mark on his forehead. Old Man Qian felt dizzy and tears streamed down his face.

As soon as Xiaoli arrived, she saw the bowl hit Old Man Qian's forehead. She didn't have time to stop it and could only watch as the bowl fell to the ground and shattered.

She took out her phone and dialed the dean's number.

"Dean, in room 102 of room A, caregiver Sun Yuan is hitting someone! Please come quickly."

Sun Yuan turned her head and saw Xiao Li.

She glared angrily. This newcomer was a troublemaker; she was everywhere, and she was especially good at causing trouble. What was infuriating was that even the dean was backing her up.

"What are you doing, new guy? What's it to you? Why are you making such a fuss?"

Xiao Li glanced at her and stuck a bad luck charm on her. This bad luck charm was drawn by Xiao Li herself. She had already learned how to draw charms, especially bad luck charms. She had drawn a lot of them and put them in her space when she was practicing.

She pushed Old Man Qian into the yard and picked up a towel to clean the stains on his face and clothes.

Xiao Li had heard of this old man Qian before. He was in a relatively good situation because his son was very filial and would visit him often.

He was one of the few elderly people who left early. The original owner only met him a few times before hearing that he had gone home.

Even so, they are still bullied by caregivers, not to mention those who have no relatives to support them.

"Thanks!"

Old Qian nodded his thanks to Xiao Li. He had figured it out; this wasn't a place for a patient like him. He would have his son take him home later. He struggled to get his phone.

Xiao Li turned on his phone for him, and he dialed his son's number.

Soon, Old Man Qian completed his discharge procedures. His son even made the hospital director pay a large sum of money for medical expenses because of the injury on his forehead before the matter was settled.

"Xiao, you should let your child take you back. It's not a good place to stay."

Xiao Li nodded to Old Man Qian, "I understand. Take care of yourself from now on. When you get old, the only person you can rely on is yourself."

"Okay, take care of yourself too."

Xiao Li watched as Old Man Qian left. In truth, she didn't know if it was better for him to leave. After all, there's no filial piety when someone is chronically ill.

However, Old Man Qian's son seems to be doing well and should take good care of his father.

"Bang bang... Ah..."

Sun Yuan lay on the ground in agony. The bowl she had just broken was now shattered into pieces on her knees. She screamed in pain but dared not clean it up, and could only watch the blood flow down.

Xiao Li covered her mouth and chuckled secretly, "Serves you right for bullying people!"

The elderly people nearby walked away one by one as if nothing had happened, which showed how unpopular Sun Yuan was.

The dean finally had some free time. He had to act like a subservient grandson and pay money to calm things down. It was all Sun Yuan's fault; he had to punish her severely to soothe his wounded heart.

Sun Yuan was helped to the infirmary, and after her wounds were cleaned, the hospital director arrived.

"Dean, look at my legs. It's all because of that Xiao Li who just arrived. She's such a troublemaker."

The dean was even angrier when he saw Sun Yuan's tearful eyes.

"You still have the nerve to complain? You were the one who bullied Old Man Qian. Now you're getting your comeuppance. You deserve it!"

"I'm fining you ten thousand yuan now. Make sure you pay the compensation. If you do it again, you're fired! Humph!"

Sun Yuan stared blankly at the departing dean; she was so unlucky.

Xiao Li went back to her room and went to bed early. As people get older, their bodies just don't keep up. While others can't sleep, Xiao Li recovers through sleep.

Just a few days later, she felt better and was able to take on two men at once without any problem.

She woke up very early in the morning to have breakfast. Martial arts practitioners get hungry quickly, so she wanted to eat more.

I must say, the dean knows how to enjoy life; the food is actually pretty good.

Today, Xiaoli planned to go see Wen Jinzhou. She had missed the last visit because of a delay. She took two pounds of apples and leisurely went there.

The door was ajar, and sounds could be heard coming from inside.

"Old Wen, take care of yourself. We'll keep each other company for a while."

Wen Jinzhou frowned. This place was not what he had imagined. He had thought he would come here to enjoy a peaceful retirement, but who knew that this would be the situation.

The money has already been invested and a contract has been signed. Even if you leave, you will lose a lot of money. It's not worth it no matter how you look at it. Besides, who knows what the next nursing home will be like?

Xiao Li waited until everyone inside left before going in.

"Who are you……?"

Wen Jinzhou looked at Xiao Li with a puzzled expression; he didn't recognize her.

Xiao Li looked him up and down; he seemed to be in good health and had no problems.

"Neighbor, neighbor... I heard you also live in a single room, so I came to visit you. Please take care of me in the future."

"Okay, okay, let's help each other out!"

Wen Jinzhou smiled broadly. He usually lived alone and didn't have many friends. This old lady looked clean and tidy, so she should be easy to get along with.
