"If she doesn't come, her mother is dead!" Su Ran said with a sinister look in her eyes.
Just then, Lin Qian arrived near the abandoned factory on the outskirts of the city. She hid behind a pile of abandoned shipping containers, observing her surroundings. As night fell, the entire factory was shrouded in an eerie silence, with only a few dim lights shining through the broken windows, making it seem even more sinister and terrifying.
"System, scan the inside of the factory for me," Lin Qian said to the system in her mind.
"Ding! Scan complete. There are five suspicious individuals inside the factory. Two are on the second floor, suspected to be Su Ran and Lin Yue; three are in the basement, suspected to be the people guarding your mother. Would you like to view more details?" The system's cold, mechanical voice rang in Lin Qian's mind.
"No need, I know what to do." Lin Qian's lips curled into a cold smile, a glint of cold light flashing in her eyes. She took out the items she had exchanged earlier from her backpack, affixed an invisibility talisman to herself, and then used a teleportation talisman, instantly disappearing from the spot.
