Chapter 47 The Concubine's Daughter Cultivates Immortality 17

Two months later, the day for the Purple Spirit Secret Realm to open finally arrived. Cultivators below the Golden Core stage gathered from all directions, disciples from various sects rushed over, and many rogue cultivators also came.

With the help of the Spirit Spring Space, Lin Qian's cultivation had reached the mid-Foundation Establishment stage. She followed the main force of the Qingyun Sect and arrived at the opening of the secret realm in a grand procession.

The Purple Spirit Secret Realm is located in a desolate Gobi Desert. Normally, there is only a pool of murky water here, and no spiritual energy can be felt. However, every hundred years, this desolate place will undergo a magical transformation, and the lake will turn into a dazzling teleportation array, attracting cultivators from all directions.

The entrance to the secret realm was bustling with people, and the noise was deafening. Disciples from various sects were all dressed in uniform attire, and there were clear distinctions between them.

Lin Qian followed the Qingyun Sect's group to the entrance of the secret realm. Looking around, robes of various colors were intertwined, and some female cultivators were dressed provocatively and flaunted their beauty, constantly striking poses to attract the attention of the male cultivators around them.

"Tch, a bunch of fancy peacocks, all dressed up in fancy clothes, but their cultivation is pitifully low. I wonder if they'll even make it out of the secret realm alive." A female disciple from the Qingyun Sect next to Lin Qian curled her lip in disdain.

Lin Qian didn't reply, merely glancing at it indifferently before looking away. She had no interest in such formalities; her only thought was to enter the secret realm as soon as possible, seek opportunities, and improve her cultivation.

"Junior sisters, stand at attention! The sect leader and elders are here!" a senior brother called out.

Upon hearing the sound, everyone immediately composed themselves and quickly formed an orderly line to respectfully welcome the arrival of the Qingyun Sect's leader and elders.

A group of people arrived on swords, led by an elderly man with an air of otherworldly wisdom, none other than Qingyun Zhenren, the sect leader of Qingyun Sect. Behind him followed several elders, each exuding an unfathomable aura.

Master Qingyun swept his majestic gaze over the crowd and said in a deep voice, "This trip to the Purple Spirit Secret Realm is fraught with both opportunities and dangers. You must all remember the sect rules, unite as one, and refrain from acting on your own initiative, and even more so from doing anything that would disgrace the sect!"

"We will heed the sect leader's teachings!" everyone replied in unison.

Master Qingyun nodded slightly, then looked at a man in a blue robe with a cold face beside him and said, "Elder Qingsong, open the secret realm."

"Yes." Elder Qingsong responded and stepped forward, his hands forming a hand seal. Intricate runes flew from his fingertips and disappeared into the lake.

The lake water suddenly surged, and colorful rays of light shot into the sky, forming a huge vortex that exuded a terrifying spatial power.

"The entrance to the secret realm has been opened. Enter immediately!" Elder Qingsong shouted in a deep voice.

Disciples from various sects could no longer contain themselves and unleashed their magical artifacts, rushing headlong into the vortex. Lin Qian was not to be outdone; she summoned a cyan flying sword, transforming it into a streak of light as she charged into the entrance to the secret realm.

The scene before her eyes distorted, and when Lin Qian opened her eyes again, she found herself in a dense forest. Tall trees blocked out the sun, and sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, creating dappled light and shadow.

Lin Qian took a deep breath, and a rich spiritual energy rushed towards her, several times more concentrated than that of the outside world. She was overjoyed; it seemed she had truly come to the right place.

"roar!"

Suddenly, a deafening roar rang out. Lin Qian's expression changed, and before she could react, a huge black bear charged out of the dense forest.

"Host, be careful! This is a berserk black bear, a late-stage Foundation Establishment demon beast. It is incredibly strong and has thick skin, but its eyes are its weak point!" 003 shouted anxiously.

Lin Qian's heart tightened, and she quickly summoned her flying sword, keeping a wary eye on the black bear.

The black bear's eyes gleamed with ferocity, and it charged wildly toward Lin Qian with its blood-red maw wide open.

Lin Qian swiftly formed a hand seal, controlling her flying sword to stab towards the black bear's eyes. The flying sword transformed into a streak of azure light, heading straight for the black bear.

Sensing danger, the black bear raised its paw to try and knock the flying sword away. However, Lin Qian's flying sword nimbly dodged the attack and continued to stab towards the black bear's eye.

The black bear roared angrily, its movements becoming even more ferocious. It suddenly swung its paw, creating a gust of wind, and swept it towards Lin Qian.

Lin Qian quickly jumped backward, but was still hit by the strong wind. She felt a dull pain in her chest and a trickle of blood spilled from the corner of her mouth.

But she did not back down at all. Taking advantage of the gap in the black bear's attack, she once again controlled the flying sword to stab at the black bear's eyes.

This time, the flying sword successfully pierced one of the black bear's eyes. The black bear let out a painful roar, blood streaming from one of its eyes, and became even more frenzied and violent.

It attacked Lin Qian frantically, and Lin Qian kept dodging, but the wounds on her body kept increasing.

"roar!"

The black bear pounced on Lin Qian again, but Lin Qian rolled away, dodging the bear's attack. She seized the opportunity to rush behind the bear, and her flying sword stabbed fiercely at the bear's other eye.

The black bear sensed the danger and turned to defend itself, but it was too late. The flying sword accurately pierced the black bear's other eye, instantly blinding it. It frantically swung its paws, but couldn't hit Lin Qian.

Lin Qian seized the opportunity, leaped onto the black bear's back, and forcefully plunged the silver dagger in her hand into the bear's neck.

"Pfft!"

Blood gushed out, the black bear struggled a few times, and finally collapsed to the ground with a thud.

Lin Qian sat exhausted on the ground, panting heavily. Her body was covered in wounds, and blood stained her clothes, but her eyes were filled with determination and the joy of victory.

Lin Qian wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, looking at the black bear's corpse on the ground, but she felt no relief whatsoever.
