Guided by 003, Lin Qian successfully arrived at the location of the divine beast egg ahead of everyone else. Gazing at the egg radiating a mysterious light, a flicker of excitement crossed her eyes, and she promptly pocketed it. Afterward, she swiftly swept away all the other precious treasures and useful items in the vicinity.
Just as Lin Qian was satisfied and preparing to leave, Ye Lingxi on the other side suddenly felt a strong tremor in her heart. A strange sense of unease made her feel as if something extremely important had left her.
"Why do I suddenly feel so panicked, as if something that belongs to me has disappeared..." Ye Lingxi frowned and muttered to herself. This feeling grew stronger, prompting her to quicken her pace and lead the group towards the place where the divine beast eggs were placed.
In the dimly lit passage, Lin Qian walked lightly, a mocking smile playing on her lips.
"003, what do you think Ye Lingxi's expression will be if she sees that the divine beast egg is gone? Will she be so angry that she vomits blood on the spot?" Lin Qian thought to herself, her tone full of schadenfreude.
"Host, with her spoiled and pampered temperament, she'll probably cry herself to death." 003's voice was full of mocking electronic sound effects.
"Hahaha, just thinking about it makes me feel so good!" Lin Qian was in a great mood.
Just then, Lin Qian finished packing her things and was about to leave when she heard footsteps and voices outside.
At this moment, most people were still lost in the intricate passages of the hall, searching for their so-called opportunities. Only Ye Lingxi and her group had somehow found themselves standing in the center of the hall, gazing solemnly ahead.
Alarm bells rang in Lin Qian's mind, and she immediately hid behind a huge stone pillar, cautiously observing the situation.

"Senior Sister Ye, this... how could this be?" A disciple stared in astonishment at the empty display stand, at a loss for what to do.
"Search around and see if there are any clues!" Ye Lingxi ordered, suppressing her anger.
The disciples immediately began searching the room. Lin Qian's heart was in her throat. She pressed herself tightly against the corner of the wall, not daring to breathe.
Ye Lingxi and her group searched back and forth inside the underground palace, the atmosphere growing increasingly tense. The oppressive feeling permeating the area made it almost impossible for Lin Qian to breathe; she pressed herself tightly against the wall, trying to minimize her presence.
"Senior Sister Ye, there are some residual spiritual energy fluctuations here. It seems someone was here just now," a disciple said.
"Damn it! Who is it?!" Ye Lingxi shattered the stone pillar beside her with a palm strike, sending fragments flying, but it did nothing to quell her anger.
Ye Lingxi stared coldly at the trace of spiritual energy fluctuation, gritting her teeth as she said, "No matter who it is, if they dare to steal my things, I will never let them get away with it!"
"Senior Sister Ye, could it be someone from another sect?" a disciple cautiously guessed.
"Hmph, who else could it be but them!" A glint of malice flashed in Ye Lingxi's beautiful eyes. "I will never let them succeed!"
Ye Lingxi and her group searched the underground palace thoroughly, but found no trace of the divine beast egg. Enraged, Ye Lingxi's delicate face was filled with malice. She shattered a nearby stone pillar with a single blow, sending fragments flying and silencing the surrounding disciples.
"Useless! You're all a bunch of useless trash! So many of you, and you can't even catch a single egg thief!" Ye Lingxi roared, her voice filled with barely suppressed rage.
Hiding in the shadows, Lin Qian listened to Ye Lingxi's angry curses and sneered inwardly.
"003, do you think I should show up now and give Ye Lingxi a 'surprise'?" Lin Qian communicated with the system in her mind, her tone carrying a hint of mischief.
"Host, calm down! Now is not the time. A gentleman takes his revenge even after ten years. Let's play it safe and develop first, and then deal with her properly later!" 003 hurriedly advised, not wanting its host to fall into danger because of a moment of impulsiveness.
Lin Qian knew, of course, that now was not the time to break ties with Ye Lingxi; she was just venting her frustration verbally.
Ye Lingxi and her group searched without success and could only leave the underground palace in frustration. Only after confirming that they had completely left did Lin Qian emerge from her hiding place.
"Phew, they're finally gone!" Lin Qian breathed a sigh of relief. It was a very dangerous situation just now. Fortunately, she was quick-witted and managed not to be discovered by Ye Lingxi.
003's voice rang out at the right moment: "Host, don't be afraid, I have found the secret passage to leave, come with me!"
Lin Qian was overjoyed and quickly followed 003's guidance, winding her way to a secluded corner.
"Is this the place?" Lin Qian looked at the ordinary wall in front of her and couldn't help but feel a little doubtful.
