Chapter 74 The Cannon Fodder Female Supporting Character Obsessed with the Male Lead (Part 2)

Lin Qian chuckled inwardly; she couldn't wait to begin her plan.

That day, Lin Qian was strolling in the garden. The garden was ablaze with flowers, each vying for attention, and a gentle breeze carried their fragrance. Lin Qian was in a good mood, enjoying the beautiful scenery.

At this moment, the Prime Minister's wife came over.

"Qian'er, how have you been feeling lately?" the Prime Minister's wife asked with concern, her eyes full of affection.

"Thank you for your concern, Mother. I'm much better now," Lin Qian replied with a smile.

"That's good. My dear child, you worried me so much after you fell into the water." The Prime Minister's wife sighed softly.

"It's my fault for causing my mother worry," Lin Qian said.

"By the way, Qian'er, Prince Ning has been visiting you frequently lately. What are your thoughts on this?" the Prime Minister's wife asked.

Lin Qian's heart stirred; she knew this was an opportunity.

“Mother, I think His Highness Prince Ning is indeed extraordinary, and I would like to try to get to know him,” Lin Qian said.

The Prime Minister's wife frowned. "Qian'er, Prince Ning is an unfathomable man. You must be very careful."

"Don't worry, Mother, I know what I'm doing," Lin Qian said.

Just then, a girl named Cui'er came running over.

"Miss, you're finally back! His Highness Prince Ning has sent many more gifts!" Cui'er said excitedly, her eyes full of envy.

"Oh? Is that so?" Lin Qian said casually.

“Miss, you are so lucky. His Highness Prince Ning is so attentive to you. Many women would rather die than have this!” Cui’er said.

Lin Qian felt a surge of annoyance, but she still patiently said, "What's there to envy? They're just material possessions."

“Miss, you mustn’t be ungrateful. His Highness Prince Ning is a dragon among men. To win his favor is the dream of countless people!” Cui’er continued.

Lin Qian sneered, "That's their dream, it has nothing to do with me."

Cui'er was startled by Lin Qian's words and dared not say anything more.

That evening, Lin Qian returned to her room, sat in front of her dressing table, and looked at herself in the mirror.

"I'd like to see what this Prince Ning is capable of," Lin Qian muttered to herself.

Just then, another orchid walked in.

"Miss, it's time to rest," said Orchid.

"Mm," Lin Qian replied.

"Miss, do you really like Prince Ning?" Lan Hua asked cautiously.

"What? What are you thinking?" Lin Qian asked.

“Miss, I think that although Prince Ning is excellent, he may not be a good match for you. You should think carefully,” Lan Hua said.

Lin Qian was somewhat surprised, not expecting that Lan Hua would have such an idea.

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing," Lin Qian said.
