Lin Yi was leaping and moving alone in the mountains. It took him only one hour to get back to the village, which took the group four hours. When he arrived at the village entrance, he suddenly remembered that there was someone tied to the tree.
Thinking of the big fool saying that he had never married, he should not have been involved in human trafficking and his crime was not punishable by death. He felt lucky that he was back, otherwise this man would have been forgotten on the tree and would have been dried up by the wind and sun.
He jumped to the top of the tree in a few steps and put the big man down under his horrified gaze.
"I'm sorry, buddy."
He put the big guy in a house closest to the village entrance. His hands and feet had been tied for so long that they were probably bruised, so he wanted to untie him, but the big guy struggled and seemed uncooperative.
Lin Yi pulled the gag out of his mouth and asked, "What's wrong? Are you angry?"
The big guy cried, "I don't want to die. I have an 80-year-old mother and a three-year-old child. Please let me go, please let me go. I promise I won't tell anyone about your situation."
Others created something out of nothing, but the big guy created a three-year-old child out of nothing.
Lin Yi chuckled: "My situation? Do you know my name? Do you know where I'm from?"
The big guy was speechless, and he wanted to say hesitantly: I know what you look like.
He was also afraid that telling the truth would give the evil villain a warning and speed up his murder. He saw most of the situations in the village clearly from the tree that morning. The fire was set by the evil man's accomplice, the old lady. God knows how regretful he was at that time. How could he actually think that the old lady could be a good person?
And the bad guy in front of him had kidnapped many women in the village, even little girls of a few years old. He was so cruel and insane. But he couldn't beat this evil guy, so he could only watch his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law being kidnapped by them "with unwilling faces", but he could do nothing.
The big guy shed sad tears in pain.
Lin Yi was speechless: "Why are you crying? Why aren't the men here manly at all? They cry at every turn. What's the point of crying? If I really wanted to do something to you, I wouldn't have let you down from the tree, right?"
The big guy still looked skeptical: "You're not going to kill me?"
Lin Yi stared into his eyes: "Why should I kill you? Have you done so many bad things that you feel guilty?"
The big guy shook his head like a rattle: "I haven't even killed a chicken, I've never done anything bad." Pouring boiling water on an ant nest as a child shouldn't count, right? He was still young at the time, so his ignorance was understandable, right?
But his expression was a little weak.
Lin Yi snorted and laughed, without wasting any words with him. He just shook a little powder into his nostrils. The big guy instantly became motionless and fell into a coma like many people in the village. Only then did Lin Yi untie the ropes on his hands and feet.
When he arrived at the Qiao family, he couldn't find Qiao Sanye.
Qiao Sanye was one of the only two sober people in the village after they left (the other was the big man tied to a tree at the entrance of the village).
Why didn't he knock her out at that time? Lin Yi searched the entire village and felt a little regretful.
He had to take out a porcelain bottle of antidote from his arms, pull out the cork, and put it under the noses of the old couple of the Qiao family to let them smell it. After a while, the two people woke up slowly.
Old man Qiao was in despair. This man had clearly said he was leaving before he knocked them out. Now it was getting dark, and he was still there. It seemed that the days of the Qiao family had come to an end, and they would probably not see the sun tomorrow.
Old man Qiao simply gave up and started hurling all kinds of vicious curses at Lin Yi, all of which were never the same. He was going to die anyway, so he had to vent his anger before he died.
Lin Yi frowned when he heard this, pulled out the shoe from Mrs. Qiao's mouth and stuffed it into Mr. Qiao's mouth, then asked Mrs. Qiao: "Where is your daughter?"
Mrs. Qiao retched several times before looking at him in confusion: "I don't know?"
Anyway, her daughter was still there before she was knocked unconscious.
