He returned home happily, but the door was locked and the tenant was not there. This was a bit disappointing, but it didn't matter. He was not busy today and could wait.
The early spring sun was warm. He leaned against the gate, sat on his bedding, and soon fell asleep.
It was his neighbor, Old Lady Sun, who was out buying groceries when she saw him and woke him up: "Little Hu'er, Little Hu'er, wake up! It's so cold out here! How did you fall asleep here?"
Hu Yitong stared at Aunt Sun for several seconds, his eyes half bleary. Then he came to his senses and said, "Ah, Aunt Sun, you are still alive?"

Hu Yitong didn't care at all. He smiled and pointed to his own yard and asked Old Lady Sun: "Aunt Sun, when will they be home?"
Old Lady Sun looked him up and down with disdain. His face was unshaven and dirty. Although he was in his early forties, he looked like a widower in his fifties or sixties. "Where are you from?"
Hu Yitong scratched his greasy hair: "Ah, where did I come from, from inside?"
Old Lady Sun: "Oh. Did you just come back from working out of town?"

Old Mrs. Sun spat a mouthful of thick phlegm at him, picked up her vegetable basket and left. She had to quickly inform Xiao Yuan to hide the money because his ungrateful father was back to cause trouble again.
