Chapter 2 Healing the childhood villain 2
"Xiao Si, this villain is quite good at investigation." Xingchen stared at the Chinese textbook and joked with 004 in his mind.
Ming Feiyuan, who put his schoolbag aside, was also looking at his deskmate calmly. Ming Feiyuan never liked to communicate with people around him, and was indifferent to his deskmate.
He glanced at the man's book, on which the name Xingjian was written crookedly.
"Xingjian." Ming Feiyuan silently repeated the name.
"This class is English morning reading." Ming Feiyuan looked at the man holding the Chinese textbook and reminded him.
Hearing Ming Feiyuan's words, Xing Jian hurriedly changed the textbook in his hand to an English textbook and whispered "Thank you" behind the textbook.
But the red tips of his ears revealed Xingjian's mood at the moment. This unreliable 004 didn't remind himself that this class was English.
Ming Feiyuan stared at the tip of his ear, which had turned red due to shyness, with a smile on the corner of his mouth that he didn't even notice.
In the past, my deskmate always wore thick glasses and buried his head in books. Why does it feel like he is a little different today?
Although they still have the same thick lenses and the same worn-out school uniform, I always feel that the people around me have become more lively and no longer like robots. But what does all this have to do with me?
Ming Feiyuan shifted his attention away from Xing Jian and took out the English book and began to read it carefully.
After four classes in the morning, Xingjian lay weakly on the desk. My God, asking someone who hasn't attended a class for thousands of years to study again, this is not relaxation, this is punishment.
Seeing Xingjian's dejected look, 004 consoled him, "Master Xingjian, just hold on a little longer. The college entrance exam is only 60 days away."
After hearing what 004 said, Xingjian became even more depressed. There were still 60 days left before the college entrance examination. That meant he only had 60 days left to spend with the villain. If he still hadn't established any connection with the villain by the time the college entrance examination was over, then all his suffering for the past two months would have been in vain.
Thinking of this, Xingjian perked up again and stuffed the papers distributed this morning into his desk. He took out his meal card and walked to the cafeteria. How could he have the energy to complete the task without a full meal?
Xing Jian picked up the meal card and walked towards the restaurant without noticing that the person he was tasked with did not go to the cafeteria, but went to the school rooftop with his lunch box.
After checking the balance on the original owner's meal card, Xing Jian's wish to have a big meal was dashed. He only ordered a few simple dishes and started eating, while observing whether Ming Feiyuan was around.
But Xing Jian was destined to be disappointed. Even when his plate was empty, he still didn't see the man. He sighed and said to himself, "Could it be that Ming Feiyuan doesn't even come to the cafeteria to eat?"
Hearing Xingjian's mumbling, 004 hesitated, not knowing whether he should speak up. However, his intuition told him that it would be better to speak up sooner rather than later: "Master Xingjian, just after class, the villain took his lunch box to the rooftop."
After 004 finished speaking, Xingjian's face darkened and he said seriously, "Little 4, from now on, if there are any movements of the villains, you must report them to me immediately."
Seeing Xingjian return to his serious demeanor from the System World, 004 said apologetically, "I'm sorry, sir. I'll do better next time."
Then Xing Jian laughed. He patted 004's furry head and said, "I was just kidding, Little 4. Don't be so nervous every day. Smile more. I'm the Supervisor, how could I fail to complete the mission? Little 4, the things that happened in the Infinite Flow World are not entirely your fault. Don't be unhappy anymore. Come enjoy the happiness of the small world with me."
Listening to Xingjian's words, 004 felt his eyes moist. Ever since that incident, 004 had been blaming himself for not keeping an eye on that damn evil god, otherwise it wouldn't have caused so much trouble for everyone.
"Okay, okay, the Infinite Flow King 004 can't cry anymore. Come with me to the rooftop to find the villain." After cleaning up the plates, Xingjian grabbed 004 and put it in his pocket, then rushed to the rooftop.
The rooftop is very windy and sunny in the summer, so few students usually come there. However, Ming Feiyuan, who doesn't like to be in the crowd, always comes to this rooftop to eat.
When Xing Jian appeared stealthily on the rooftop, Ming Feiyuan spotted him at a glance.
Seeing his strange deskmate suddenly appear here, Ming Feiyuan frowned. His intuition told him that this guy might be looking for him.
After the Star Sword locked onto its target, it walked straight towards Ming Feiyuan.
Feeling Ming Feiyuan's gaze, Xing Jian paused, and when he raised his eyes, he met those gloomy eyes.
"Thank you this morning, classmate." Xing Jian said as he handed the lollipop he had just bought at the convenience store to Ming Feiyuan.
Looking at the smiling face of the person in front of him, his expression turned a little ugly, not knowing what he was thinking about. Why would he show such a radiant smile to a random stranger? Ming Feiyuan did not take the lollipop, but pretended not to see it and walked past Xingjian, leaving Xingjian alone there.
However, Xingjian didn't feel embarrassed at all. He just silently opened the strawberry-flavored lollipop and put it in his mouth.
If you don’t eat such a delicious lollipop, you’ll have to taste it yourself.
Xing Jian, holding a lollipop in his mouth, walked towards where Ming Feiyuan had just stood. No wonder Ming Feiyuan liked to come here. From this place, he could almost overlook the entire campus, and the sun was not so strong. Xing Jian decided to stay here for a while after dinner.
What Xing Jian didn't know was that this place was seized by Ming Feiyuan after he defeated other thugs in the school. It was his own territory.
After chewing the lollipop in his mouth in a few bites, Xingjian lost interest in this place and quickly left the rooftop.
Back in the classroom, Xingjian discovered that the man had left the rooftop and had not returned to the classroom. However, Xingjian did not want to explore where the villain had gone at this time. After all, the man would naturally come back during class.
The test paper that had just been handed down on the table attracted Xingjian's attention. He shifted his gaze to the test paper, on which was written a pitifully low score in red pen. Xingjian looked over the test paper over and over again. Although the test paper was full of answers, there were almost no correct answers.
Looking at the original owner's pitiful score, Xing Jian lost interest in this test paper, but became interested in the test paper of his villain deskmate. He turned his head and saw that Ming Feiyuan was not nearby, so he quietly took Ming Feiyuan's test paper and looked at it carefully.
The bright red 100 on the test paper made Xing Jian envious. Not only was the entire test paper 100% correct, but the handwriting was also very neat.
In comparison, my own crooked handwriting looks more like scribbles.
