Bonus Chapter 2: Who Else Will Love You? (GGAD)

"Ariana's death only brought our separation forward."

Dumbledore lowered his head and sighed.

"Albus, do you still remember when the Ministry of Magic invited you to deal with me?"

"When we were talking in the Muggle restaurant?"

"I ask you why, at this moment, you would agree to embark on our shared goal."

"You said you love me."

"I think I'm not mistaken, am I?"

A look of reminiscence and longing appeared in Grindelwald's eyes.

Yes, you're not mistaken.

Dumbledore nodded firmly; he did not deny the love in his heart.

"That's an undeniable fact, isn't it?"

I do love you.

"Me too."

Upon hearing Dumbledore's long-awaited confession, Grindelwald smiled sweetly.

"Albus, have I ever told you that I love you too?"

Grindelwald is currently in a state as if he has been given a love potion by Dumbledore.

Her face was full of innocent and pure love, so silly it was almost unbelievable.

"Yes, you said that."

Dumbledore clasped his hands together and continued nodding.

"In Godric Valley."

"And in that barn."

Grindelwald couldn't wait to interject.

"We did everything, and we were so happy."

"Albus, you said we can reshape the world; it's our birthright."

"You said the same thing to me at the Muggle restaurant."

Dumbledore straightened up, lowered his head, and blinked his blue eyes.

"I think I already answered you before that conversation; that was in the past."

"It's all in the past."

"Is this love also love?"

Grindelwald tugged at Dumbledore's sleeve, his eyes filled with stubbornness.

It's like a child desperately begging their parents for candy because they can't get any.

Even just one.

"You're still so childish."

Dumbledore paused for a moment, then sat down on the edge of the bed.

The current Grindelwald reminded him of the five lightning bolts he used to whip Newt back then.

He started smoking right on the train tracks, and even Momo Ran stopped chasing him.

"because I love you."

"Albus, I love you."

Grindelwald sat down on the edge of the bed, trying to take Dumbledore's hand that he had put down.

But Dumbledore easily dodged it.

“I once asked Newt Scamander.”

I asked him, "Do you think Dumbledore would mourn for you?"

"Albus, I was really jealous back then."

"I don't understand why you dote on a student so much."

“He even stole our blood pact.”

Grindelwald now wishes he could go back to the time when he smoked Newt.

Even a hundred more lightning whips wouldn't quell his anger.

Poor Newt was completely bewildered when he was interrogated by Grindelwald, who was actually Percival Graves, the Minister of Security for the Magical Congress of the United States of America, disguised as Grindelwald.

What is it that makes Albus Dumbledore like you so much?

Who can answer that?

"Albus, tell me, do you still love me?"

"Please, Albus."

Grindelwald knelt on one knee on the floor, grabbing Dumbledore's knee and pleading desperately.

"Do you know what I see every time I open the Mirror of Erised?"

Dumbledore did not give a direct answer to Grindelwald's question.

“Grindelwald, I can see you in the mirror every time.”

"Not even between you and me."

"But it's just you."

Dumbledore placed his hand on Grindelwald's hair, and Grindelwald obediently lowered his head and nestled between his legs.

"So you love me, right?"

"You have always loved me."

Grindelwald rubbed Dumbledore's pajama bottoms, muttering to himself.

Yes, I love you, always.

It seems they won't give up until they get a clear response.

Dumbledore lowered his eyes, quietly enjoying Grindelwald's compliance at this moment.

"So, can I go back now?"

"I have to go back now, my great-aunt will worry if she sees me missing."

Upon hearing Dumbledore's desire to return, Grindelwald immediately changed the subject.

He always knew how to change the subject, just like when Dumbledore suggested destroying their "blood pact" at the Muggle restaurant.

Grindelwald hadn't even tasted the tea at that restaurant, yet he could praise the Muggle tea as delicious.

Grindelwald stood up and ran wildly toward the window.

Goodnight, Albus. Sweet dreams.

He turned around and winked at Dumbledore.

He then jumped off the windowsill.

Grindelwald did the same thing when they were having an affair.

Dumbledore propped his head up with his elbow against the bedside table.

As if a sweet memory had come to mind, she couldn't help but lower her head and chuckle.

Even at my age, I can still enjoy the long-lost passion and joy of love.

Dumbledore knew that subconscious actions do not lie.

He can't fool himself.

He was indulging in the pleasures of his youth.

It's definitely better to be young, when you can experience the pain of love.

Dumbledore sighed, stretched, and prepared to go to sleep.

No wonder those wizards love to stuff their pockets with anti-aging pills and youth-preserving pills.
