[Ding! The system has issued a second task: Cook a pot of braised pork trotters with ginger for Chi Yuan. Merit points: 100]

Shen Yulou was a little confused by the sudden mission. Getting close was one thing, but what was with this pig's feet and ginger?

"Aww..." At this moment, the little fox cub, who was curled up in a bamboo basket filled with cotton and fast asleep, was also awakened by the fragrance and was now quietly calling out for food.

Shen Yulou couldn't figure it out, so he simply stopped thinking about it.

"Sweetie, you can't eat this yet. Just bear with it. When you grow up, I'll take you to catch some delicious food!" Shen Yulou pinched the baby's nine short, chubby tails, which looked like little bananas, and then went to prepare the milk powder he had just bought, which was specially for feeding baby animals.

Watching the little one struggling to lift his head and wolfing down his milk, Shen Yulou smiled. This kid is so cute.

The seventh day of the Lunar New Year

Through Shen Yulou's tireless efforts, he has become a master of Cantonese cuisine. During the New Year, customers flock to his restaurant in droves, and his dishes are highly praised.

Chi Yuan and Liu Yaozu drove two cars, each carrying their parents to the dinner.

"Wow, this place is so crowded, it must be delicious!" Liu Yaozu's mother exclaimed, holding onto the handrail of the car with one hand and pointing to the uneven dirt road and the parked cars outside with the other.

"It's so famous here, you think! If you don't book early, you won't get a seat!" Mr. Liu had a loud voice, and he proudly praised himself for booking a seat well in advance.

Soon, a beautiful little villa appeared before everyone's eyes. Behind the villa was a mountain with a large fishpond on it. Chickens, ducks, and geese could be seen running around and flapping their wings on the mountaintop.

The two families finally found a parking space and parked their cars.

"There are a lot of people here. Please order first, but the food may take a little while to arrive!" The aunt who led them to the private room spoke in standard Cantonese-accented Mandarin, but the group was not surprised.

"It doesn't matter, it's late if it's late." Liu Yaozu waved his hand and tore open the plastic film containing the bowls and chopsticks.

"Hey kid, help me out! I'm going fishing with your Uncle Chi." After saying that, Liu's father picked up a fishing rod and led Uncle Chi's father to the fishpond outside to fish.

"The air here is so fresh!" Looking at the misty mountains outside, Chi's mother followed Liu's mother to the hill to enjoy the scenery.

While washing the dishes, Liu Yaozu suddenly glanced at the menu on the table and exclaimed, "Oh dear, I don't remember adding this dish to my aunt's menu."

"Wait a minute, I'll get it from Auntie!" Chi Yuan quickly washed the dishes and chopsticks in his hands, then took the menu and walked out of the private room.

As Chi Yuan left the private room and turned the corner, he saw a waiter talking to a young man who was holding a teacup in his left hand and a chef's uniform in his right.

Chi Yuan walked over.

Upon hearing footsteps, Shen Yulou and his aunt turned around instantly.

A beautiful face instantly caught Chi Yuan's eye. The boy in front of him was tall and slender, wearing a white low-cut sweater. His long, thick black hair was clipped back with a shark clip, but some smooth strands still fell to the sides of his face.

He had a pair of beautiful fox-like eyes, his dark pupils as pure as ink, looking at people with tender affection and captivating charm. His pert nose and the small black mole on the corner of his narrow eyes added a touch of allure, and his peach-red lips glistened with moisture. If you were to get close to him, you could almost smell the fragrance of chrysanthemum tea.

Chi Yuan was stunned when he held the menu.

"Ah Sheng, what's wrong?" The boy looked at the stunned Chi Yuan, tilted his head, and asked with a smile.

The boy's voice was clear and sweet, and Chi Yuan felt his heart pounding.

Oh my god! He seems to be getting love-struck!!!
