Chi Yuan silently shut up, poked the baby's belly and asked Shen Yulou for a kiss.
"Look, this is a painting I drew. I practiced for a long time before I could finish it."
He pulled out a piece of paper from behind his back. In the ink, which was of varying shades, three dragon claws emerged from the clouds, their golden scales appearing and disappearing in the morning light.
The ten-clawed golden dragon coiled into a perfectly round vortex, its whiskers curling around two auspicious clouds, from which two fluffy fox ears peeked out.
The golden cub on the left is pawing at the dragon's horns with its fluffy nine tails, its round belly pressing against the dragon's spine, and the dark color spreading out like dandelion fluff at the tip of its tail.
On the right, a nine-tailed red fox sits gracefully on a lotus throne supported by dragon claws. The tip of its tail is curled with a gilded bell, and the drooping vermilion color perfectly outlines a crescent moon. Three drops of dark ink are placed at the corners of its eyes, creating a shimmering gaze.
Wow, I never knew you were such a good artist!
Take the paper and stick it on the airplane window.
The sunlight streaming through the window illuminated the painting, allowing Shen Yulou to clearly see the varying shades of ochre on the dragon's body, creating countless ripples on the rice paper.
The ink stains that hadn't dried on the cub's paws just happened to transform into leaping waves. If the cub were really in the painting, it probably wouldn't be eagerly rushing into the waves and rolling around by now.
"Were the scales on this dragon's body painted with tea?"
A look of amazement flashed in Shen Yulou's eyes. He gently stroked the end of the dragon's tail with his fingers, and gold powder clung to his fingertips. As soon as Zai Zai saw the sparkling thing, he reached out to touch it as well.
"I'm glad you like it."
Chi Yuan buried his head in Shen Yulou's neck and nuzzled against her. Suddenly, the little one in Shen Yulou's arms pointed at the red nine-tailed fox in the painting and kept shouting "Ba ba! Ba ba!"
"Haha, my sweet boy is so smart, he knows what his dad looks like now, doesn't he?"
Shen Yulou proudly grabbed Zai Zai's wrist and shook it, then had Chi Yuan press down on the painting, and pointed to the chubby golden fox cub in the painting.
Who is this little fox? Does the cub know who it is?
The golden cloud pattern hidden between the baby's eyebrows seemed to emerge and flicker excitedly as if seeing an acquaintance, but Shen Yulou gently patted it a few times to suppress it.
"Ooh, wah wah wah!"
Baby fox! The little one is a baby fox!
The child knew it was him when he heard the name, and happily raised both hands and called out.
"Wow, you're so clever, little one! And what about this one? Who is this dragon?"
Chi Yuan looked at the boy nervously. He had drawn himself based on Shen Yulou's description, and he didn't know if he really looked like that.
What is a dragon?
When Zai Zai first saw the prototype of Chi's father, he tilted his head and tried to pronounce the word.
"Lolo? Waaaaah?"
The little one, unable to express himself, turned his toes and decided to go on strike, sucking on his chubby hands and looking up at his father in the pool like a little fish.
Chi Yuan looked down at him with doting eyes. The little boy giggled and bit his hand, his chubby body twisting and turning like a snake.
"You haven't told Dad who Longlong is yet."
"Look, this is Daddy Shen, this is Zai Zai, who else is there?"
"Bang! Bang bang!"
The clever kid immediately thought of Chi's father, who was all alone. He pulled his hand out of his mouth and touched Chi Yuan's chin, smearing Chi Yuan's face with saliva.
"That's right, little one, you're so great! Longlong is Chi's dad."
"It's sparkly, isn't that your favorite color?"
Shen Yulou straightened the child in her arms who was sitting in a bad posture. The soft little one was falling over everywhere like a roly-poly toy.
"You little rascal!"
"Little one, wipe Daddy clean."
When Chi Yuan heard that Zai Zai had guessed him correctly, he was both surprised and delighted. He lifted Zai Zai high in the air and then used Zai Zai's round belly to wipe his face.
"No!"
My little one isn't a bad guy! My little one is a good egg!
The child pouted and patted his father's head in protest.
The plane began to move forward on the runway, tilting its nose up. The scenery outside the window became increasingly expansive, and the baby opened its hands, grasping and closing them as it looked out the window.
"Beep beep~ Beep beep~"
Bye-bye!
