Opening a dessert shop in the interstellar battlefield (5)

A pink shop appeared out of thin air in front of Shen Yulou, and finally landed in his palm with a pink glow.

"What an exquisite shop."

Shen Yulou stared at it intently for a while, and felt that this little shop was a bit like the little toys they had bought for their child to play house with before.

"Anything produced by our system is guaranteed to be of the highest quality."

"This dessert shop has a certain ability to resist attacks, and its presence is zero in the eyes of the Dark Spirit."

"The above functions are only applicable to the store itself and the pastries stored in the store."

He nodded.

Great, this way his shop won't be invaded by the Dark Spirits, and the delicious little cakes won't be destroyed by them.

He asked the system for a map of the central battlefield and began to locate his dessert shop.

Since we're going to sell cakes, we should try to choose a location behind the battlefield, preferably next to a soldiers' concentration camp.

"Here, here, and here..."

Shen Yulou temporarily circled four positions with his fingers.

One was at the very back of the battlefield, one was in the middle of the soldiers' concentration camp, and the last two were on the left and right sides of the soldiers' concentration camp, respectively.

"Hmm, no, the first one isn't suitable; it's too far from the guests."

He drew an X in the circle at the very back of the battlefield.

"The left and right sides of the soldiers' concentration camp seem to be the same, so what about the middle?"

Looking at the two locations, he hesitated.

He would be very conspicuous in the middle of the soldiers' concentration camp, and presumably he would be able to serve more customers.

Shen Yulou's hand hovered between the three circles, and finally he ticked the circle in the middle of the soldiers' concentration camp.

"Let's leave it at that for now. If it's not suitable, we can downsize and relocate it."

Its wings flapped behind it and it took flight, heading towards the soldiers' concentration camp according to the map.

The central battlefield seemed perpetually shrouded in a thick, dark fog, swirling and engulfing everything, making it impossible to see anything in the darkness.

Shen Yulou circled around for a long time before finally reaching the edge of the soldiers' concentration camp. Looking at the enormous beast lying in the interstellar wilderness in front of him, he flew around the entire concentration camp twice.

The concentration camp was surrounded by a towering energy shield that shimmered with a cold blue light, and its surface was occasionally crackling with electric arcs, emitting a "buzzing" sound of ionization.

"Wouldn't we get electrocuted if we tried to fly in?"

He looked down at his small body, afraid of being electrocuted by the shield.

Guangguang's voice quickly echoed in my mind.

"The system shop has an interstellar shield hiding device. Do you want it, host? I'll give you a huge discount, 600 merit points."

His voice was somewhat smug, as if anyone would be a fool not to take advantage of such a great deal.

Shen Yulou was no fool, so he took it.

He placed the shield concealment device on his body, flapped his wings a few times, and charged straight toward the shield.

Inside the shield are rows of metal barracks arranged in a ring, cast from a dark gray, high-strength alloy.

The walls are etched with the marks of time and war, uneven and charred from being bombarded by energy weapons.

It's very depressing.

This was Shen Yulou's first impression of the soldiers' concentration camp. He lowered his altitude and flew along the floor.

The ground is a rough alloy plate, which has turned a dull silver-gray due to long-term wear and erosion.

Coolant, emitting a faint glow, flowed between the gaps in the boards; it was the key to maintaining the concentration camp's energy system.

It's hard to imagine how much attention his pink dessert shop would attract here; it's completely out of place, isn't it?

"We've arrived."

Following the map in front of him, he stopped in the middle of the soldiers' concentration camp.

Soldiers were training in formation here, their heads densely packed, leaving Shen Yulou with nowhere to stand.

At the top here is a dome net woven from high-intensity energy threads, and the light and shadow carried by the grid pattern float in the queue.

What's up there?

Shen Yulou was curious about the "clinking" sound coming from the dome net.
