The snakes frantically gnawed at the blind bats, injecting venom into them.
Many bats began to fall down with a "plop".

Lucas moved his fingers, wanting to know about Sevin.

"Your Highness, my brother said he went to treat Medusa's eyes."
"Why haven't you come back for so long?"
The thread connecting the servant to Lucas was suddenly severed, and Lucas's eyes darkened.
"Useless thing."
It would be a lie for Lucas not to be angry that his servant, whom he had trained for so long, had now died at the hands of these research subjects.
Shaking off Sevin's hand as he prepared to put on his cloak, Lucas picked up his cane and vanished from the spot.

Shen Yulou wandered around inside the iron cage.

A deep male voice echoed throughout the dungeon, causing all the creatures to tremble involuntarily.

"I thought you vampires were really powerful, but now it seems you're nothing special."
"I don't know what these cowards are afraid of."
With a light, disdainful tone, Shen Meiren slapped the top of the iron cage with her large tail as if venting her anger.
Lucas didn't reply, but the cage where Shen Yulou was located suddenly exploded.
"hiss!"
Medusa tumbled through the air, her sharp fingers striking Lucas's face.
The man instantly transformed into a bat, leaping nimbly, and black mist began to spread throughout the dungeon.
Shen Yulou hung upside down from the roof, taking in the entire dungeon environment.
"grumble."
A massive sonic attack hurtled toward Shen Yulou’s head, shaped like a scythe, attempting to sever his neck, which was hanging in mid-air.
"Is the power gap in your vampire clan really that severe?"
Shen Meiren did a sit-up on the rooftop, thus avoiding the first sonic attack.
Countless sound waves surged in from all directions.
"How come you're so capable, Earl, yet your subordinates are so incompetent?"
"Is it because they're too weak, or too stupid?"
Lucas was not angered by Shen Yulou; he simply remained calmly hidden in the countless black mists.
"If he had the courage to confront me directly, like the Earl, instead of resorting to those despicable methods, he probably wouldn't have died so quickly."
Shen Meiren dodged attack after attack in mid-air with a playful laugh. Although her huge body required a lot of effort, she was very agile.
He couldn't understand what Ced was thinking. He was a high-ranking vampire and Lucas's vassal, yet he was so foolish and confident.
