After thinking for a moment, he added another sentence.
"Or you can just hang it on the roof beam to sleep."
The little one curled up in Lucas's palm.
Dad is so scary, he pinched my ear.
The little guy covered up his erect ears.

Feeling guilty, Lucas grabbed the hand that Shen Meiren was using to pinch his ear.

Shen Meiren snorted coldly a few times and reached into Lucas's wide sleeve to pull out the invitation.
"When are we going? Should I go?"
"You are not allowed to go."
"No, I want to go."
They tried to push Lucas's head away, but Lucas refused.
"What are you going to do? You can't see me anyway."
"Oh my, this is so sour! Where did you spill the vinegar in your castle?"
Shen Meiren chuckled and fanned the air around her, as if there really was a strong sour smell in the air.
"I don't drink vinegar."
Lucas opened his mouth wide and bit down on the soft flesh of Shen Meiren's neck.
"Then why do you smell sour?"
Shen Meiren sniffed Lucas's scent from all sides and up and down.
"Because I am the reincarnation of vinegar spirit."
He picked up Shen Meiren, preparing to do something inappropriate for children in broad daylight.
"Wait, let's get this straight!"
Shen Meiren's snake tail immediately stuck to the ground, blocking Lucas's path.
What did we agree on?
Lucas tossed Shen Meiren up into the air.
"If I make you happy, you'll take me with you."
"Chirp chirp?"
Happy? What's there to be happy about? The baby needs to be happy too!
The little guy suddenly spoke up, wanting to join the dads' conversation.
I almost forgot about this kid.
Lucas and Shen Yulou exchanged a glance, and Lucas immediately shoved his bloodied hand into the baby's mouth.
"Chirp chirp?"
Isn't the baby hungry?
The blood was swallowed by the bewildered baby, who then covered himself with a small blanket and fell fast asleep.
What if the baby wakes up in the middle of the night?
Shen Meiren poked the fleshy lump.
"No, and Sevin will help take care of him."
For once, Lucas was reliable enough to put the baby in his pocket.
The couple then continued their previous conversation.
How do you want to make me happy?
Shen Yulou flicked the corner of the man's mouth, which he couldn't suppress, and touched his face.
"Never mind that, I'll make you say it yourself."
"Then perhaps I should sew my mouth shut."
The sound of their conversation carried further and further until the bedroom door completely blocked their view.
