The Vampire Count's Observation Diary (6)

Zai Zai: Don't worry, Daddy Chen, I promise I won't get angry.

So boring! So boring!

Shen Yulou rolled around in the cage again.

He touched his smooth hair and snapped his fingers.

Several brown venomous snakes instantly appeared from his hair.

The patterns covering their bodies and their long, protruding forked tongues all demonstrate that these snakes are not to be trifled with.

"Come out, everyone, and have a good chat with me."

Shen Meiren touched the snakes' heads with her hands, making them stretch out a little more.

"System, open the system store. I want to buy a deck of cards to compare hands."

I spent 300 merit points and successfully exchanged them for a deck of cards that glows.

Shen Meiren gave each of the snakes on her head a playing card.

He decides whether to compare the size or the size.

Whoever plays the smallest or largest card in the end wins.

Forgive Shen Meiren, he hasn't played poker in a long time, and he's not very good at it; he always loses.

He had only a superficial understanding of the rules of poker and could only determine the winner in the simplest way.

That's it!

It depends on luck.

"Whoever wins has to obediently disappear from my head!"

"If I win, I won't play the next round."

"After we've won them all once, we'll start over!"

After making a simple opening remark to maintain order on the cards, Shen Yulou began dealing the cards.

Soon, screams and clanging sounds came from the iron cage where he was.

This attracted the attention of the local indigenous people.

The sound of the snakes hitting the iron cage is what they find exciting, and it's the sound of them smashing the cage wildly after a victory.

No one can resist the allure of playing cards, not even Medusa.

Time flew by as they became engrossed in the game, when suddenly the Cerberus in the corner barked loudly.

"Bark bark!"

Someone is coming.

Shen Yulou quickly hid the snakes and the playing cards, put a cloth over his eyes, and curled up in the cage.

The once quiet basement became chaotic again, with all sorts of noises filling the air.

Upon seeing who it was, everyone immediately fell silent.

“Count, two vampires just presented a Medusa as tribute.”

Lucas, dressed in a silver stand-up collar robe, strode ahead with a brisk pace.

Her long, wine-red hair was tied into a low ponytail with a black ribbon, swaying back and forth like waves as she walked.

The familiar old nobleman followed Lucas, pointing out Shen Yulou's location.

Medusa?

Lucas stopped in his tracks and slammed his cane into the ground.

"Yes, those two vampires..."

The old nobles were boasting about their achievements, but Lucas interrupted them.

"Have you dug out the eyes yet?"

Meeting Lucas's dark eyes, the old-money nobleman fell silent.

"What? You're not going to gouge out his eyes, but mine?"

The light tapping of the cane on the ground sounded like a death knell to the old-money aristocracy.

"Or, Ced, do you want to turn me into a stone statue?"

"No, no, no, that's not how it is."

"This was an oversight by Said, and Said will handle it."

"Please forgive Ced's oversight, Count."

The old nobleman, Seid, immediately knelt on one knee, pressing his right hand to his left chest to show his loyalty.

What kind of idiots did I hire as subordinates?

Lucas didn't say anything, picked up his cane, and immediately turned and left.

The silver cloak billowed towards Said's face, creating a gust of air that carried a faint smell of blood.

Said knew that Lucas was giving him a chance.

"I will report to the Earl as soon as possible."

The resolute voice echoed throughout the basement, but Lucas had already vanished.

Shen Meiren, who had been lying on the ground listening to the entire conversation: ...

Another day of myocardial infarction.

My eyes have started to ache slightly.

...

"Chirp chirp?"

What is this?

The little one, with two tiny wings on its back, circled the pretty spoon on the table with its two feet.

The older siblings flew with the baby for a long time, but when they got tired, they stopped to rest with the baby.
