The Vampire Count's Observation Diary (9)

The little one immediately recognized the scent as that of his father.

Letting go of my older brothers and sisters' hands, I prepared to huff and puff as I flew over.

"Little one, what are you doing?"

The bat sister reacted quickly, grabbed the baby, and lifted it onto the roof beam.

"Chirp chirp!"

Looking for Daddy!

The little one pointed its tiny wings at Lucas below, its eyes filled with excitement.

"ah?"

The older siblings were all stunned.

"Your father is an earl?"

"Wait a minute, the Earl has no children, kid, you're not looking for the wrong one."

The older bat hooked its arm around the baby's wing to prevent the eager little one from jumping off if it wasn't careful.

"Don't worry, little one, let's look again, okay?"

"My older brothers and sisters aren't in a hurry."

But how could the impatient little one possibly listen to his brother's words?

All he could think about was finding his dad and eating.

Seeing that the little one had calmed down, the bat brother thought he had succeeded in persuading him, so he loosened the restraints on the little one's wings and wanted to hug him.

As a result, the little one used its round body to roll, and the whole bat rolled down.

"younger brother!"

"Fly quickly."

The baby descended in a parabolic arc through the air.

The older brothers and sisters didn't dare fly down to disturb the count as he ate, and could only anxiously wait on the roof beams.

Lucas, having no other choice, accepted the fact that the spoon had been tainted and tossed it aside.

“Count, give Sevin some time. I will find out who touched your spoon.”

“He will receive a punishment that will satisfy the Earl, and I will prepare another one for you afterward.”

"Please, Earl, have your meal first."

Since things had come to this point, Sevin could only try to persuade Lucas to eat.

He also bears some responsibility for failing to properly supervise his superior's tableware.

It wouldn't be good to let your boss go hungry because of this.

Although Lucas was very dissatisfied, he could only reluctantly agree to the matter.

Just as he was about to pick up his bowl to eat, a solid black ball smashed directly into the count's bowl.

In an instant, splattered blood rushed towards Lucas's face.

Countless gasps filled the air.

"Sevin!"

Lucas closed his eyes and gritted his teeth, his fingers gripping the bowl so tightly they turned white.

"exist!"

Upon hearing the count's cold voice, Sevin immediately took out a handkerchief to wipe Lucas's face.

The baby choked on several mouthfuls of blood, and his whole body was soaking wet.

It wobbled as it stood up in the bowl.

"Chirp chirp chirp!"

Daddy, Daddy.

Daddy, give me a hug.

I think I've gotten myself into trouble.

But the baby didn't do it on purpose.

The round little bat drooped its head, its eyes filled with guilt.

I don't know where to put my two little wings.

Who is your father?

Lucas opened his eyes, placed the bowl on the table, and then picked up the baby.

"I don't remember when I had a son."

The older siblings on the roof beams couldn't bear to look, feeling that their younger brother was about to be eaten.

Blood is dripping from the baby's fur.

"Chirp chirp."

You are my dad.

The little guy met Lucas's angry gaze, struggled a few times, and stared at Lucas with teary eyes.

Lucas ignored what the baby said and tossed the baby into Sevin's hands.

"Get rid of it."

The cub was weak, pitiful, and helpless in Sevin's hands.

She burst into tears as soon as she closed her eyes.

"Chirp...chirp"

My little one didn't do it on purpose, Daddy, don't be angry.

The little one was crying so hard he could barely breathe.

Sevin turned around, ready to take the baby away, but Lucas changed his mind again.

"return."

Sevin turned around again, holding the cub.

Lucas pinched the baby again, and with a look of disgust, put it under his nose and smelled it.

Besides the sweet, pungent smell of blood, there was also a familiar odor.

"You touched my spoon too, didn't you?"

"belch!"

The baby hiccuped and his whole little body trembled.

"Tell me, how are you going to compensate me for the bowl of blood? And my spoon?"

The little one shook his head.

The child didn't know how to compensate his father.
