The snake demon had no intention of discussing it with Luo Jiu. Taking advantage of her distraction, it immediately opened its blood-red maw, and its sharp teeth, filled with venom, were about to pierce Luo Jiu's skin.

Luo Jiu wavered between running away and watching the battle, and finally transformed into a little rabbit, peeking out from under an old tree from time to time to see how the battle was going.
Neither demon used any demonic power or magic; they simply engaged in the most primal biting and entanglement, as if merely venting some resentment.
In a short while, blood had stained a large area of the land red. The strong smell of blood filled Luo Jiu's taste buds, making her heart tremble.
Finally, Luo Jiu saw the fox pin the snake demon beneath its feet. It slightly raised its head, the faint traces of blood on it not diminishing its imposing presence. Its obsidian-like eyes looked at Luo Jiu, like those of a triumphant emperor.
Luo Jiu met its eyes, and her heart began to pound wildly.
I originally thought the fox wouldn't come, and although I was a little disappointed, it was still within my expectations.

The fox had been walking briskly at first, but the further it went, the heavier its steps became.
A faint smell of blood permeated the pile of dry grass, and Luo Jiu then realized that even the once-powerful fox was covered in blood.
It curled its body into a ball, not wanting to move for even a moment. Its eyes slowly closed, as if preparing to fall asleep.
"A fox? A fox!"
Luo Jiu stepped forward and nudged it, but the fox's massive body remained completely still.
The fox's snow-white fur was covered in blood and dust. Since Luo Jiu became its bathing tool, he had never seen the fox so dirty.
She stamped her feet anxiously on the spot, but the fox still made no move and continued to bleed.

Cool herbs were applied to the fox's body, causing it to slowly open its eyes.
