The girl cried for a while, then gradually stopped crying.

Ning Qing said, "Okay, keep it. You go back and rest first. I'll take you shopping tomorrow."

After the girl left, Ning Qing buried herself deep in the blankets.
The next day, Ning Qing took the little girl shopping after dinner.
After strolling around the streets for most of the day, the little girl's smile gradually widened.
The way he called out "Brother Ning" was as sweet as could be.

Ning Qing felt a headache coming on just thinking about Fang Qingyang's face. He actually suspected that she had ulterior motives towards him. She pouted and said, "Why would I bring him along? He's no trouble at all. Little girl is much better. She's so sweet when she calls me Brother Ning."
