"Xiao Hao, have you missed your brother?"
Bai Hao looked around anxiously, and only felt relieved when he saw that no one was around.
He glared at Ning Qing, placed his palms on the table, leaned over, and whispered a warning.
"At home, please watch your words."
Ning Qing smiled and went over in her wheelchair.
She reached out and grasped Bai Hao's hand, but unexpectedly, Bai Hao forcefully shook her hand off.
Ning Qing raised her eyes and gazed deeply at him.
Bai Hao's eyes flickered, and he took a step back.
He always kept in mind the boundary in his heart.
Seeing this, Ning Qing felt rather helpless.
Look in the direction where Mr. Bai and Ms. Yang left.
"Mom doesn't seem to be in a very good mood. Should we go over and comfort her?"
Bai Hao looked down at Ning Qing, who was sitting in a wheelchair, his eyes filled with doubt.
"What are you planning to do now?"
Ning Qingchao rolled his eyes at him.
"I just want to show some concern for my own mother, what else could I possibly want to do?"
He continued speaking, despite Bai Hao's distrustful gaze.
"I don't think your dad is the kind of person who's good at comforting people. Let's go over and take a look."
Of course, Ning Qing had a strange feeling about the conversation between Bai's father and Ms. Yang.
My wife now fears her like a ferocious beast.
She was bored, so she could go over and listen to some gossip to pass the time.
Bai Hao recalled that Ms. Yang was indeed in a low mood when she left.
Then she thought that she had treated her quite well and had never mistreated her.
Everything that should be there is there, and sometimes I even have a vague feeling about it.
She treated herself with the same tenderness as her own child.
Unconsciously, she has gradually filled the small gap of maternal love missing in her heart.
After a moment of silence.
Bai Hao finally nodded.
Seeing this, Ning Qing curled her lips and said, "You push me there."
But in his heart he was thinking: Great, I can spend more time with my wife again.
Bai Hao glanced at Ning Qing's legs but ultimately said nothing.
He walked over, raised his hand, and silently pushed the wheelchair.
Ning Qing's lips curved into a pleased smile.
Bai Hao glanced down at the person sitting in the wheelchair, a pleased smile curving his lips.
A beautiful, faint smile appeared on her lips.
The two arrived and stopped in front of the study door.
The door was ajar, with a small crack visible.
Just as Ning Qing was about to raise her hand to knock on the door, she heard Ms. Yang's tearful voice coming from inside the room.
He paused in his knocking motion.
"Old Bai, thank you for taking care of my son and me all these years."
Peek inside through the tiny gap.
Ms. Yang lowered her head slightly and quietly wiped away her tears.
Ning Qing heard this.
What?
With a livid face, he asked the system in his mind: Little cat, what's going on?
The cat system looked guilty after being questioned by Ning Qing.
It took a quick look at the original owner's life experiences over the past twenty-odd years.
Who knows...
He just looked into the matter between Mr. Bai and Ms. Yang and realized that he had misunderstood.
The father simply stayed by their side, silently taking care of the original owner and her child.
How should I explain this to the host, explaining the blunder caused by my momentary carelessness?
The host won't go, so you're going to draw your sword, right?
Should I say it or not?
At that moment, Bai's father's voice came.
“Taking care of you and your child is my own choice, so you don’t need to feel guilty. Besides, Bai Ping only did it to save me… Taking care of you is what I should do, otherwise I would always feel guilty and uneasy.”
He paused, then continued.
