Chapter 56 The Cross-Dressing Master (14)

Seeing Ning Qing sleeping soundly across from him, Jun Cheng also unknowingly drifted into a dream.

Nothing was said that night, and everyone slept peacefully.

In the early morning, Ning Qing opened her eyes, looked at the sky outside, and touched her belly.

Ning Qing thought to herself, "I should go find something to eat."

He stood up and glanced at the person lying on the haystack.

Stepping out of the cabin, I was greeted by a vast forest. The birdsong was especially melodious in the early morning, a flock of birds chirping and chattering, each with a different tone, weaving a beautiful tune.

After Ning Qing got up and left, Jun Cheng opened his sharp eyes and looked at the place where Ning Qing had been, his eyes filled with complex and ever-changing emotions.

He wondered if Ning Qing had deliberately disguised herself as a woman to get close to him, and how she had managed to save him twice when his life was in danger. These coincidences were too numerous to ignore, making him suspect that something was amiss.

A fox will always show its tail eventually, no rush.

Ning Qing had caught two fish and was grilling them. She took a few grains of salt from her spatial storage and sprinkled them on. The saltiness was enough; it wasn't appropriate to add barbecue seasoning so early in the morning.

Smelling the fragrance, Jun Cheng also came out and bowed to Ning Qing.

"Thank you so much for saving me last night," he thought for a moment but still didn't know how to address Ning Qing, so he chose to be vague and just say it.

Her current identity is that of a widow whose husband has died.

Call him "Young Master," since he's just another maid sent to take care of him.

Ning Qing seemed to recognize Jun Cheng, but didn't know how to address him.

She chuckled softly, "Let me formally introduce myself. My name is Ning Qing."

"Young Master Ning".

Ning Qing glanced at him sideways and teased, "You can also call me Miss Ning, I don't mind."

Jun Cheng's expression was strange; how could a grown man allow others to address him as a "girl"?

When I think of Ning Qing dressed as a woman, it doesn't look out of place at all; she looks exactly like a little girl.

He couldn't help but wonder to himself, could this young master Ning have a penchant for dressing as a woman and be a homosexual?

The thought sent a chill down his spine, and he unconsciously took a step back, widening the distance between himself and the other person.

He clearly didn't realize that it was inappropriate to call Ning Qing, a widow, a "girl"!

All attention was focused on her cross-dressing.

Ning Qing looked at the little boy's series of expressions and actions and couldn't help but want to tease him.

She stood up, pretended her legs were numb and she fell, and threw herself into the other person's arms.

"Oh dear, my legs are numb from squatting for so long, I can't stand up. Can I lean on you for a bit? You don't mind, do you?"

After speaking, she looked completely innocent, blinked her naive eyes, and stared pitifully at the other person, her hands tightly clutching the other person's shirt.

Jun Cheng was stunned by this sudden event. Even someone as intelligent as him could be dumbfounded at this moment. Looking at the innocent and harmless person in his arms, whose big eyes seemed to hide brilliant stars, he was unconsciously deeply attracted and wanted to get closer to find out more.

Jun Cheng covered the other person's eyes with one hand, blocking those captivating eyes, afraid that he would be attracted and become addicted to them again.

Ning Qing, whose eyes were covered, looked utterly bewildered, her little head filled with question marks. What was this little brat doing?

Coming to her senses and looking at her own actions, she was unusually embarrassed, and a faint blush slowly crept up her ears.

He immediately took a step back, saying, "Young Master Ning, please have some self-respect."

Ning Qing stared at the other person with eyes full of questions, "How have I been disrespectful?"

"You, you..." Jun Cheng was secretly annoyed at himself for his fickle mind, so easily attracted by a man's gaze.

He secretly resolved that he would copy the Heart Sutra several more times when he got back.
