Just as Di Xiu finished his work and was about to eat, he was called away by his boss with a phone call. However, he was not annoyed and remained calm.
After all, he had treated his subordinates the same way when he was a boss.
The superior didn't eat much for dinner, so he dragged Di Xiu, who was on an empty stomach, to eat some more. Since Di Xiu didn't ask, the governor was too embarrassed to say anything.
After staring at each other for half an hour, Governor Qiu ate about five or six tenths of his full meal, cleared his throat, and saw that this tactless man had put down his chopsticks, adopting an attitude of listening attentively but not taking the initiative to speak.
He thought to himself: Well, I shouldn't have relied on this taciturn guy.
He was too ashamed to speak ill of his own daughter, so he said in a serious tone, "After thinking about it carefully when I got back, I think your suggestion is very meaningful. Do you have any thoughts or solutions?"
The taciturn gourd has been opened up.
"It's just a rough idea yet. The main goal is to strengthen teenagers' sense of national identity and raise their awareness of upholding the law. How about adding a course where teachers can guide students to rebuild their values by explaining real cases and showing documentaries? In addition, each school should establish a team of psychological counselors. Students face a lot of academic pressure, which can be addressed through psychological counseling, and the counselors can also provide guidance..."
“Psychological guidance can be a big or small matter, so the team needs to carefully check to avoid introducing people with bad intentions, which could end up harming the students.”
"On the internet, nobody knows anyone, so people can speak much more freely. We can make judgments by observing past comments, but the screening process is a huge undertaking. So I plan to write a program to screen and record these comments. With the widespread implementation of real-name registration, this will be much more convenient..."
This was a point he added specifically.
The internet is inevitably exploited by malicious individuals, which can be termed cyberbullying. This is a new type of online violence, and according to the latest data in China, on average, one in five people has experienced it, and approximately 2,000 people die from cyberbullying every year.
This kind of violence is difficult to prosecute, has low crime costs, high costs of seeking redress, and is often difficult to control due to factors such as online anonymity.
Di Xiu thought, why not take this opportunity to increase costs?
When Di Xiu started talking about his plans, he became much more talkative. 001 stared in disbelief, poked his head, and shouted, "Hey, which monster dares to take over your Uncle Xiu's body?"
As soon as Emperor Xiu finished speaking, the provincial governor seized the opportunity to nitpick, and Emperor Xiu was able to immediately offer corresponding suggestions for most of them. He had only been making this plan for half a day, and it was still impossible to cover everything. He would rather use the remaining part to gather the wisdom of the masses, since he certainly wouldn't be the one to make the final decision once this system was implemented.
They had arranged to meet at a restaurant, and as they were chatting, the waiter came to remind them that the restaurant was about to close. Only then did they realize that it was already midnight. Di Xiu then invited his boss to his home.
Before following him into the study, the boss politely asked permission and only stepped in after receiving it. He saw two desktop computers and one laptop on the desk, with the packaging box of one of the desktop computers still lying next to the desk.
He asked with a smile, "Why are you using a desktop?"
Di Xiu emerged from his possessed state and returned to his usual taciturn self, replying simply: "Convenient."
After Di Xiu returned, he started assembling the computer and made some improvements. 001 pointed out some flaws, but surprisingly, he couldn't find any.
He turned on his computer and, while talking to Governor Qiu, multitasked with his fingers, typing out a proposal and making adjustments as the discussion progressed.
Annie came in to bring tea once, then sat on the sofa outside and dozed off. Governor Qiu saw her when he went to the toilet and woke her up: "Little girl, don't sleep here, you'll catch a cold. Go back to your room and sleep, don't worry about us."
Annie rubbed her eyes, said "Oh," guessing they were done for the time being, and then knocked on the study door, asking Di Xiu, "Sir, is there anything else you need? If not, may I go to sleep?"
Knowing that her husband was a workaholic, this wasn't the first time Annie had seen him work until midnight. He usually went straight to sleep, but today she stayed because there were guests, just in case they needed anything.
Di Xiu glanced at the time, his expression a mix of calm and slight surprise: "You're still awake?"
Annie: "..."
"Go ahead, you don't need to prepare breakfast today or tomorrow."
Anne thanked him, turned around and saw Governor Qiu, nodded politely, thought for a moment and said, "There are new towels, disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste, and unused cups in the cabinet above the sink in the restroom. Slippers are in the cabinet under the sink. Guests can take them if needed."
The governor smiled and said he understood.
Anne brewed them another pot of tea and then went back to her room.
The two continued their discussion together, and before they knew it, dawn had broken. They then closed their eyes for a short while.
Three hours later, the two were woken up by their biological clocks, washed up, and then got into Di Xiu's car to go to work.
The other vice governors were horrified to discover that the "King of Spin" had started spinning the ball again. Last time he threw money at the ballots, and this time he had actually incited the governors to join in the frenzy of spinning.
Damn it, I finally got into a leadership position, why should I get involved?
The vice governors wept and rolled up their sleeves, and the others below couldn't relax either. Even Di Xiu could feel the resentful yet murderous looks in the eyes of the others.
So, Di Xiu had nothing to do again. He only had to write out the program he mentioned. Since he said he didn't need anyone's help, and given his past as a top student at the School of Information Science and Technology of the Capital University, they didn't ask him to build a team to save money.
During the day, Di Xiu wrote programs, and at night he optimized the previous "Eagle Eye". Annie was worried that he would die suddenly, and subtly suggested that he go to the hospital for a check-up.
The test results showed that Anya, who was examined along with her, was perfectly healthy, while her worried employer turned out to be excellent, with no health problems whatsoever.
