Jiang Yi pushed Li Zhao away abruptly, a flash of shame and anger flashing across her face. "Shameless."
Li Zhao stepped back, and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, I lost control of myself for a moment."
He took out a handkerchief and wiped his fingers gracefully.
Jiang Yi could clearly see the crystal clearness on it. She had a cold face, but the words "gentlemanly villain" flashed in her mind.
She turned her eyes away and didn't look at him.
"Where are you taking me?" Jiang Yi asked.
Li Zhao said, "We'll be there soon."
Li Zhao pressed on, "Is that okay? If you want, just tell me. I'm attracted to you and I'll do whatever you want."
Jiang Yi sneered, "That's what you want to do."
Li Zhao said honestly, "You can say that."
Jiang Yi suddenly raised her arm, took out a dagger from her sleeve, and approached Li Zhao.
Li Zhao just looked at her like that, without dodging at all.
Jiang Yi didn't hesitate and stabbed the dagger into his shoulder.
Her clothes were stained with blood, but her expression remained cold. "This is the price you pay for offending me. If you do it again, I will show no mercy."
"Prince, you must remember your identity."
She wiped the dagger clean and put it back into her sleeve.
She sat up straight and looked at Li Zhao expressionlessly.
Li Zhao thought again of the day when she first entered the palace.
At first, she was a weak and harmless little white rabbit, and it seemed that he could reach her with just a stretch of his hand.
But gradually, she became more and more unpredictable.
In fact, it’s not that it’s hard to understand, but Li Zhao is unwilling to accept that this is the first time he likes someone, but this person is so cold to him.
She was as cold as a sculpture, just looking at him from afar, as if he was someone completely unrelated to her.
But in fact, Li Zhao himself knew that there was no such thing as should or should not.
Looking at her cold face and feeling the pain in her body, Li Zhao felt a surge of pleasure in his heart.
He thought he might have a masochistic tendency.
He even tried to provoke her anger.
Li Zhao said, "You are really cruel."
He looked at his blood-stained clothes on his chest, then put on a painful expression, "If this continues, I'm afraid I'll bleed to death."
"You are responsible for making me like this."
"You bandage me."
Jiang Yi ignored it.
He pitifully tore off the corner of his clothes and wrapped it around his wound. Then he came closer and squatted in front of Jiang Yi and said to him, "I only have one hand to use. Please tie it for me."
He looked extremely pitiful.
"Okay, please, just consider it as a plea from me."
"If that doesn't work, you can stab me again later."
"You want to stab me, I'll let you, but you have to bandage me."
He had a smile on his lips and just looked at Jiang Yi quietly.
Until Jiang Yi couldn't hold on any longer and bandaged his wound, he smiled even more.
He said, "Mother Jiang really does care about me."
Jiang Yi's face turned even colder, and she said, "Shameless."
She really didn't know that a crown prince could be so reckless.
Li Zhao said, "It's only for you."
Jiang Yi's heart skipped a beat, her expression became even colder, and she decided not to pay any attention to him no matter what he said.
Li Zhao didn't say anything else, but just turned his head and stared at Jiang Yi with a pair of deep eyes.
It didn't take long before they arrived at the destination.
Li Zhao got off the carriage first. He wanted to help Jiang Yi. This time Jiang Yi did not refuse him and helped him get off the carriage holding his arm.
He followed her and said, "I am here, don't be afraid."
What came into view were small graves one after another, each with a name on it. They were Jiang Yi's relatives.
Jiang Yi looked at those familiar names and his eyes suddenly turned red.
The two in the front are her parents and her aunt.
Although her aunt was the queen during her lifetime, she left this world with the charge of being framed, so she could not enter the imperial mausoleum and no one collected her aunt's body.
The queen ended up with her body exposed in the wilderness.
Her father was a great general who had made great contributions to the court. One of his arms was broken on the battlefield, but he was feared by the king and stabbed in the back by the monarch he was loyal to. He was also cursed after his death.
Her mother was gentle and quiet, but she died in that disaster.
When her brothers died, the oldest was only in his twenties and the youngest was only seven years old.
She and her sister managed to escape, but became beggars and were manipulated by Concubine Shu and her son.
She lived her life in a daze, becoming a knife in the hands of her enemy.
Looking at these tombstones closely, Jiang Yi felt deep remorse for his hatred for his enemies and for his incompetence in his previous life.
She clenched her fists and wanted to kneel down and admit her mistake to her elders.
But Li Zhao is still here.
Then a pair of scarlet eyes filled with hatred became fear.
From Li Zhao's perspective, as soon as he saw Jiang Yi coming down, he knelt down in fear.
Her whole body was shaking slightly because of fear.
I thought to myself that I was a weak woman after all, and I would be afraid when I saw these graves.
She was just cruel to him.
He walked over to her outstretched hand, wanting to help Jiang Yi up, and he said, "Don't be afraid, I'm here."
Jiang Yi did not stand up. She leaned on Li Zhao's chest and watched all this. Her nails almost penetrated into the flesh, and she did not let go even when she pinched it until it bled.
She tried to slow her voice and said, "But I'm so scared that my legs are weak and I can't stand up."
