Chapter 11 My brother is a beast in the medical field

Chu Ci was very serious about this, "I always feel that my legs are five to ten centimeters shorter than the ideal size."

Cha Bai: ...

Chu Ci's condition was not very bad to begin with, and because of Cha Bai's previous treatment, her physical data gradually recovered, and she would be able to be discharged from the hospital soon.

This time, the Chu family seemed to have made up their minds not to care about Chu Ci anymore. Even when Chu Ci was discharged from the hospital, they didn't come alone.

It was drizzling outside. Chu Ci was wearing a light blue long-sleeved dress and carrying a small suitcase. She looked up at the sky while waiting for the bus.

The sky was covered with dark clouds, and even though it was drizzling, it was still very hot and stuffy. The gray clouds rolled around, as if a rainstorm was brewing.

In the hospital office, Lu Jin was holding a pen and frowning, not knowing what he was writing on the notebook.

Suddenly, the phone next to him rang, interrupting Lu Jin's train of thought. The pen in his hand paused slightly, a trace of annoyance flashed across his eyes, and he looked up at the lit phone screen next to him.

The name of Mrs. Chu displayed on it made him frown. He took a breath and looked at the phone screen for two seconds before answering the call.

"Hello, Mrs. Chu, what can I do for you?"

A noble and distant voice sounded, and Chu's mother, who had secretly run to the balcony with her cell phone in her hand, felt a pang of sadness in her eyes.

She was naturally proud that her child had grown up so well in a place she couldn't see, but because she knew how he had been doing over the years, the bitterness and pain in her heart were even greater.

She wanted to make it up to him, but he already had everything he needed and had no interest in the Chu family's assets. He had already missed out on his son for so many years, so how could she be willing to force Lu Jin to do something he didn't like?

Besides, the child didn't completely disown her. At least he promised to come back to see her every week. In fact, this was pretty good, so she could only try her best to restrain herself and not cause trouble for Lu Jin.

The only thing that gave her a headache was Chu Ci, the child she had looked after since childhood. She didn't know if it was because of her spoiling that she developed such a personality.

Later, she realized that what Chu's father said was indeed right. He should teach Chu Ci a lesson and make her more obedient, so she calmed down and stopped caring about Chu Ci's situation.

But she knew that Chu Ci was discharged from the hospital today. Seeing the rain getting heavier outside, and thinking that Chu Ci was still a little girl who had basically never traveled alone, she couldn't help but feel worried. That's why she avoided Chu's father and went to the balcony to call Lu Jin to confirm whether she had left safely.

Hearing the purpose of Chu's mother's call, Lu Jin raised his eyebrows slightly, responded casually twice, and hung up the phone. Thinking of Chu Ci's pale appearance before, he stood up, walked to the window and looked out.

Coincidentally, Lu Jin's office had good lighting and was located on the side floor of the hospital gate. He could see the small figure standing at the hospital gate at a glance. She was wearing so thinly and even raised her hand to catch the rain.

She is childish and doesn't know how to take care of herself.

Lu Jin paused slightly, raised his hand to press his gold-rimmed glasses, took off his white coat, put on his jacket, and walked out.

A guy like this is indeed worrying.

At this moment in the Chu residence, Chu's mother put down her phone, breathed a sigh of relief, and turned her head to meet Chu's father's eyes.

Chu's mother: ...
