The surrounding area is densely covered with shrubs and full of greenery.
Chu Ci blinked and looked up at the sunlight.
The light fell from between the leaves and landed on her. The wings behind her dried up little by little and stretched out.
This feeling was subtly comfortable. Chu Ci couldn't help but squint her eyes and adjusted her body to allow the wings behind her to get more sun.
The little elf lay on the dried elf flower, picking at the petals, with only half of its face exposed. The little golden wings behind it stretched out little by little, and slowly became quite beautiful.
Her golden hair was a little messy and stuck to her body. Perhaps it was because the elf peanut had not been kept for long enough and the nutrition supply was insufficient. Compared with other elves, she looked particularly petite and seemed very thin and weak.
The pair of dark eyes blinked, and finally narrowed in some comfort. The white and slender little hands were raised and touched their dry wings.
Chu Ci flapped her wings tentatively.
The force caused Chu Ci to stagger and almost crash into the tree trunk next to him.
Fortunately, the elves are close to plants and trees, and the branches of the trees actually reached out consciously, pulling Chu Ci and steadying his body, allowing the little elf to nestle in its broad leaves.
Chu Ci almost fell down. He lifted his head by grabbing the leaves, revealing half of his face from the other side of the leaves. He looked at the tree with his big, watery eyes.
Suddenly he smiled with his eyebrows curved, as if to express his gratitude.
The tree somewhat unnaturally covered its body with its vines, just like a human covering their face when embarrassed.
"Mom, Mom, look, there are some strange creatures over there."
Suddenly a childish voice was heard, and Chu Ci turned his head to look.
Then he saw a child standing not far away. He was so young that he hadn't even retracted the fox ears on his head. He stared at him with his fox eyes, tugged at the clothes of the person standing next to him, and pointed at her and spoke.
The mother who was being held by her child bent down and looked in the direction the little fox was looking.
She was quite beautiful, bright and charming, with a kind of charm, but she was obviously more powerful. The ears on her head had disappeared, and she looked like a human.
She saw Chu Ci stunned for a moment, as if she didn't react, and then she saw the big elf flower behind Chu Ci that had dried up and opened, and then she covered her lips, looking a little surprised.
"Mom, what is that?"
"That's an elf, a newly born elf. Look, she is drying her wings." The woman came to her senses and pulled her son, telling him not to go over there casually.
Although they look like newly born elves, they are the darlings of the forest after all, and the forest has a natural preference for them.
There are trees all around, and it would be bad if you accidentally get hurt when you go over there.
"Elf? Is it the kind that lives in the forest next door?" The child's eyes were filled with curiosity, and his ears twitched slightly. "She's so small."
He had never left the Forest of Beasts, nor had he seen elves, and it was impossible for the human form of the beasts to reach this state.
So Chu Ci's appearance was quite curious to him.
Chu Ci flapped her wings slightly again, and her fair and tender little face was full of innocence. She was so small, so cute and beautiful.
