Su Man sat opposite Fang Huai, while Elena sat next to Fang Huai.
Fang Huai didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with this, and asked Su Man, "Where did you go last night?"
Su Man's eyes swept across Elena's face, "Do you think it's okay to talk about our private affairs in front of outsiders?"
Perhaps the word "outsider" stung Elena, and she dropped her face, "Since Mr. Fang and Miss Shen have something to say, I'll go out for a walk."
"Hey." Fang Huai pulled Elena back, "You're my secretary, what's there about me that you don't know? Sit down."
Just then, the waiter brought over the menu.
Elena spoke first, "Two B sets, the steak must be medium rare, and the salad should have more olives instead of tomatoes."
Fang Huai closed the menu and handed it to the waiter, "Just do as she says."
Elena looked at Su Man, “Miss Shen, I don’t know your taste, what do you want to eat?”
"Package C, thank you." Su Man said.
"Okay, please wait."
After the waiter left, the air suddenly became quiet.
Su Man picked up the napkin to wipe her hands and said suddenly, "I didn't expect you to be such a competent secretary. You even know the boss's taste very well."
Elena raised her chin, "Of course. As a secretary, you naturally need to know everything about your boss. Only then can you be considered a qualified secretary."
"Is that so? So, you're having dinner and drinks with your boss after get off work to investigate his preferences? So what's the next step? Learn about his sleeping positions?"
Fang Huai frowned, "Chen Man, what are you talking about?"
"Didn't you ask me where I went last night? I wanted to ask you this question too. You said you worked overtime last night, but someone saw you having dinner with Elena. I was wondering at first, but after hearing what Elena said, I realized that you were doing an investigation."
Although Su Man didn't get angry, anyone could hear the sarcasm in her tone.
Before Fang Huai could speak, Elena became anxious, "Ms. Shen, please speak with respect. Mr. Fang and I are innocent. Even if this company is jointly opened by you and Mr. Fang, I make a living with my own ability. No one can insult my personality and my professional ethics!"
