As soon as Su Man entered the restaurant, she felt that the atmosphere was not right.
She went to change her clothes as if nothing had happened, and when she came out, the manager called her.

After Su Man went upstairs, the manager looked at her slim back and hugged herself with heartache.

Su Man came in with a food cart. Her attention was focused on the cart. She greeted him warmly, "Good afternoon. I'll serve you the appetizers."
Jiang Yuan watched Su Man lift the silver lid and pick up the plate. The moment she saw him, her face froze.
He thought she would blame him for not trusting her, or accuse him of breaking off the engagement. Or, as usual, she would coquettishly ask him why he ignored her.
But she said nothing, just restrained her smile and placed the plate in front of him, "Sir, please enjoy your meal."
He had never seen such coldness and alienation in Xue Man before.
Before he could react, Su Man pushed the food cart and prepared to go out.
Jiang Yuan stood up suddenly, and the chair rubbed against the ground, making a "swish" sound.
"Xiao Man."
Su Man stopped and asked, "How can I help you?"
The indifferent tone was like a gust of cold air that penetrated into Jiang Yuan's heart, making him shiver.
Jiang Yuan walked quickly to her side and said, "I'm sorry, I misunderstood you. Now I know you didn't lie to me. You have been working here all the time."
Su Man listened to him patiently and nodded. "And then?"
Jiang Yuan frowned, "What then?"
"If nothing else, I'll go back to work."
"What do you mean?"
Jiang Yuan's voice rose, but thinking that he had indeed wronged her this time, he patiently said, "I've already apologized to you, please stop making a fuss."
