Su Man put on the protective suit without hesitation.
We have come this far, there is no retreat.
This is a one-piece protective suit. The thick fabric wraps her whole body. The zipper on the face is stuck on her nose bridge, and the transparent eye mask covers her eyes. Even her mother can't recognize her.
After confirming that there was no problem, Su Man took a deep breath. The strong smell of plastic filled her nostrils and her breath also came onto the mask.
As she moved, she could hear the sound of fabrics rubbing against each other. Along with this sound, Su Man once again arrived at the door of Apartment No. 8.
The door was not locked. When the curtain was lifted, the dark red light silently expressed the eeriness.
The hall was empty, with deep corridors on both sides, and the doors of the dormitories inside were tightly closed.
The red light could only barely illuminate the first few rooms. Where the light could not reach, it was pitch black, like a huge black hole that seemed to swallow everything.
The two corridors looked exactly the same. Su Man chose the right one and stepped into the darkness one step at a time.
"Crack..."
When passing the fifth room, a chilling sound came from inside the door.
It sounded like the scratching of frosted glass, making one's hair stand on end.
Suman stopped.
Another sound, "Crack..."
At this moment, she found a nameplate hanging on the door. She looked closer and saw that it clearly read, "Dong Mingxing"
Dong Mingxing?
Su Man secretly wondered, shouldn't Dong Mingxing live in the same dormitory building with Cui Feng and the others?
I tried to push the door, but it was locked from the inside and wouldn't open.
Time was urgent, so Su Man could only put it aside and continue walking inside.
...
The dormitories further down the hall were extremely quiet, with name tags on every door, all the way to the end of the corridor.
Through the barely visible light coming from the edge of the window gap, Su Man discovered that the window here had been sealed with black tape.
At the end of the corridor is an extremely huge room with two closed doors. Judging from the material of the doors, they should have been added later.
Along the way, Su Man didn't see any stairs or elevators. Could it be that she was locked at the back of the building?
Su Man fumbled around, trying to find the door lock, but strangely, the door didn't have a handle or even a keyhole.
Could it be that it can pass through walls like in the magic academy?
Just when Su Man was thinking about giving it a try, her arm accidentally slid across the door, and with a "click", the door opened.
Su Man touched the cuff and sure enough, there was a small round button there. At first she thought it was a button, but unexpectedly, it turned out to be something like a identifier.
"Squeak..."
Suddenly, Su Man heard a noise outside, perhaps someone was coming.
Su Man didn't dare to delay and went straight behind the door.
The door closed silently and everything returned to normal.
-
The moment she came in, Su Man felt something was wrong.
She groped the wall near the door and turned on the light, and the scene before her nailed her to the spot.
The walls and the ground were covered in blood, and there were countless broken arms and legs on the ground. If she hadn't been wearing protective clothing, the strong smell of blood would have made her nauseous.
A few steps away, four or five zombies were gnawing on the body of a living person.
That person could no longer be considered alive. Her throat was bitten in half and she was obviously breathing her last breath. Her muscles only twitched when the zombies gnawed on her.
Soon, the zombies were attracted by Suman, and they all turned their heads and looked at Suman.
Those already terrifying faces became even more terrifying because they were covered in blood.
Su Man remained motionless, reached behind her back, and used her arm to touch the location of the sensor lock in her memory.
But no matter how hard she tried, the door remained motionless.
It seems that the way this door opens is different from the inside and the outside.
As time passed, the zombies gradually lost interest in the people who were struggling to survive on the ground. They stood up slowly and headed towards Suman.
As the distance got closer, Su Man gradually realized that the crystal cores in their bodies were black.
Based on the zombies she had encountered before, zombies with white crystal cores were the lowest, followed by red and purple.
black...
Without time to think about it, Su Man concentrated and calmed down, intending to suppress them with his mental power.
But just before she was about to give the order, she suddenly stopped.
wrong.
Everything went so smoothly today, from coming out of the dormitory, entering Apartment 8, to this room.
Along the way, the owner of the note seemed to have guessed the various obstacles she would encounter, but missed this one.
In other words, his purpose was to bring her here.
Could it be that he wanted to test her?
Thinking of this, Su Man withdrew his mental power and ran directly towards the zombies.
The zombies all rushed towards her, and just when she was about to be pinned to the ground, she suddenly squatted down and rolled behind them.
The zombies rolled into a ball due to inertia, one on top of the other, tearing each other apart.
“…”
Su Man took the opportunity to squat beside the bloody body to check if she was still alive.
Why does this person look so familiar?
When Suman saw the earrings on her ears, she was stunned.
"Tomomi?"
Zhimei's face was completely disfigured by blood and wounds, and blood from her neck soaked the cement floor. She was still breathing, but she couldn't say a word.
Even though the two of them had a feud in the past, Su Man didn't care about that at such a critical moment of life and death.
Zhimei's body was already in pieces. Suman didn't dare to touch her. "Zhimei, hold on a little longer, you..."
