"Where are we?"
Guan Yisheng asked through the door.
"elevator."
Fortunately, in order to treat Su Man, Guan Yishen asked the nurse to inform him whenever Lin Ru came, so they still had some time.
Guan Yisheng glanced in the direction of the bathroom and said, "Carry her in first."
"no."
Su Man immediately refused. "Lin Ru came at such a coincidence. He must have hurried here because he knew Tang Aoyu was coming. If he couldn't see Tang Aoyu, he would just think she hadn't arrived yet and wouldn't leave at all."
Guan Yisheng raised his eyebrows and looked at Su Man. Even in such an urgent moment, she was still able to keep a clear head.
But Su Man was not really indifferent. She looked around, her eyes fixed on the small bottle that Tang Ao Yu had just dropped, and quickly picked it up.
"Look, what kind of medicine is this?"
It was all in English. Guan Yisheng read out a string of English names. Su Man asked, "What is that?"
"It's a drug that stimulates the brain nerves. If injected into a person with brain damage, they will experience symptoms of brain death due to overstimulation. A normal person will only be unconscious for an hour or so. Tang Aoyu must have read the fake medical records I gave you, so he specifically found this drug."
Guan Yisheng smacked his lips. "The drug itself isn't toxic. Even doctors might not be able to detect it after the injection. What a brilliant idea."
Su Man frowned and would wake up in an hour or so...
As long as Tang Aoyu wakes up, she will definitely tell Lin Ru that she has regained consciousness, and then both she and Guan Yisheng will be exposed.
The ticking sound of the wall clock reminded Su Man that she had little time left to think.

The elevator door opened and Lin Ru just happened to pass by the nurse who brought the news.
He hurried towards Su Man's ward, fearing that he would be too late and Tang Ao Yu would attack Su Man.
The door of the ward was wide open, and the originally tidy room was in a mess. Su Man was sitting on the bed holding a quilt. Her slightly long bangs covered her eyes, making it impossible to see her expression.
Lin Ru hurried over, "Manman, what's wrong with you?"
"Lin Ru."
Su Man called out in a hoarse voice.
Lin Ru was stunned. He stood there blankly and didn't dare to respond.
After a while, he trembled and said, "What did you call me?"
"Lin Ru?"
Lin Ru subconsciously took two steps back, with obvious fear in his eyes, as if it was the end of the world.
Su Man looked puzzled, "What's wrong with you?"
Lin Ru's heart beat wildly, "You, you..."
"She has regained consciousness."
Guan Yisheng came in from outside. He walked to Lin Ru and patted his shoulder. "Aunt Tang came here just now. She used an injection on Mo Man..."
He seemed to be hesitant to speak, leaving Lin Ru ample room for imagination.
Lin Ru did not disappoint everyone's expectations. He immediately thought that since Tang Aoyu could not get rid of Mo Man, he might as well let her recover her memory. That way, even if he wanted to keep Mo Man by his side, she would escape.

Lin Ru asked tentatively, "What do you remember?"
Su Man tilted her head and recalled the past. "I remember, I had just finished saying the wedding vows, and we went to see the guests off together, and then..."
She frowned and tried hard to recall, but she couldn't remember anything, so she became a little anxious. "Then, what happened? I wasn't drunk, was I? Did I make a fool of myself?"
Lin Ru did not answer. He looked at her intently, as if trying to find evidence that she was lying.
Su Man understood that if she revealed even the slightest flaw at this moment, it would arouse Lin Ru's suspicion.
She pretended to be angry and said, "Why don't you answer me? Okay, they say men become lazy after marriage, and it really is true."
Seeing the familiar coquettish look on her face, Lin Ru felt as if he was in another world.
He no longer had any doubts, or rather, he was unwilling to doubt them anymore. He even felt that this was a gift from God, giving him a chance to start all over again.
Lin Ru looked at Su Man's face which was turned away because of anger, and walked forward step by step. In just a few steps, it seemed like he had walked through half of his life.
He whispered, "I'm sorry, it's my fault."
Su Man curled up the corners of her mouth. She was obviously unable to hold it back any longer, but she still kept a straight face, looking like a typical young couple who were awkward.
"Then I'll reluctantly forgive you. Let's go home."
As she said this, she was about to get off the bed, but the next second, she lost her balance and fell off the bed, "Ah!"
"careful!"
Lin Ru quickly supported her and waited until she sat down again before letting go.
Su Man looked at her legs with a surprised look on her face, "What's wrong with my legs?"
"Your leg... is injured." Lin Ru said hesitantly.
