On the other hand, Su Man did not return to the dormitory after running away, but took advantage of the cover of night to come back from another direction.
She hid in the corner and watched Ding Gaoxuan sometimes beating his chest and stamping his feet, sometimes gazing at the moon and sighing. She was just about to set up a table and have a few drinks.

Su Man frowned the whole time, "Are you sick? Why don't you go see a doctor?"
The man waved his hand, and when he found his voice again, the first thing he said was, "Don't investigate further."
Su Man played dumb, "What are you looking for? I don't know what you are talking about."
The man didn't expose her, his face full of fatigue. "The water here is much deeper than you think. You are just a student. Don't put your future on the line."
Hearing him say this, Su Man knew that he was not completely against her, so she stopped playing Tai Chi and said bluntly, "It is because I don't want to drown that I want to know what is in the water."
"You are Ding Gaoxuan's girlfriend. You will not be sent away for the time being, but if you continue to investigate, Ding Gaoxuan will not be able to protect you."
"Do you know where they were sent?" Su Man asked.
The man didn't respond. The moonlight didn't illuminate his eyes, and Su Man only saw darkness.

From what she overheard in the archives room, the school would only select a portion of the students. If what he said was true, the rest would be sent back when the new batch of students came in.
What he meant was to let Su Man be a coward under Ding Gaoxuan's protection and wait obediently for graduation.
However, if Su Man could be so obedient, she would not be Su Man. She looked into the man's eyes and said word by word, "What if I refuse?"

Su Man choked. Adults are really unlovable. If they are useless, they are useless, but they still have to tell the truth.

"You helped me again and again, is it because of the bottle of water in the small dark room?" Su Manqing said coldly.

Their eyes met, and Su Man didn't flinch. She was gambling, betting that he still had a conscience.
After a while, the man said, "My name is Lu Ming."
"Are you a teacher here?"

"So where were those students sent?" Su Man said with a serious expression.
“The school has many partners.”
Lu Ming still had concerns and the answer he gave was vague.
Su Man was unwilling to let go of the opportunity after finally finding a breakthrough. She pressed on, "Were they sold?"
Lu Ming shook his head. "Trading is too cheap a method. They will use another method to prevent them from leaving."

Just when Su Man wanted to ask for details, a red light suddenly flashed on Lu Ming's waist.
It was too late, and Su Man couldn't tell whether it was a phone or an intercom. Lu Ming noticed and said, "I should go home."
Su Man knew that Lu Ming had no choice in this school, so she didn't force him. She tentatively asked, "How should I find you next time?"
