Lu Mingyue gritted her teeth and followed the instructions, holding her breath and straining. Each exertion exhausted all her strength, and suppressed groans escaped her throat as tears streamed uncontrollably down her face.
Hearing the noise outside, Huo Zheng was extremely anxious and paced back and forth in the corridor, secretly making a decision in his heart.
After an unknown amount of time, a clear cry pierced the air. All the pain vanished in an instant.
"It's a baby girl!" The nurse brought the newborn to Lu Mingyue.
Lu Mingyue weakly opened her eyes, glanced at the wrinkled little guy, and tears welled up again.
