Chapter 165 What are you doing here? [32]
The screams of those trapped in the car behind her also made Song Jiahe turn around and look.
If Song Jiahe were willing, there were some things in her space that could save these people.
However, she had already inquired about this group last night and found that none of them were the formidable figures she had heard of in her previous life.
Therefore, Song Jiahe had no intention of interfering.
She looked away and continued calmly killing zombies to clear a path.
Over there, Ah Chu and the others also turned around and looked back.
Lin Xiangheng paused for a moment, then took out a grenade and threw it over there.
"Bang!"
The grenade exploded, creating a breach in the two vehicles behind it.
That's all Lin Xiangheng can do.
If those people don't think about saving themselves, there's nothing he can do.
Some people reacted quickly and realized that this was probably their only chance to escape.
Now no one was reluctant to get off the bus, and they quickly made the time to get off.
However, there were simply too many zombies. Despite their desperate attempts to run and kill them, some people were still caught or bitten by the zombies.
Screams and shouts filled the air.
Lin Xiangheng and his group were powerless to help; they couldn't protect so many people.
As Achu followed Lin Xiangheng and the others, he looked around.
She was looking for that high-level zombie.
These zombies are unaffected by the commotion created by Shen Wang and his group, so there must be a high-level zombie controlling them.
We found and dealt with that high-level zombie. Although there are many of these zombies, they are not insurmountable.
Soon, Achu found the high-level zombie.
It was a zombie girl still wearing her school uniform and with her hair in a high ponytail.
There were no obvious festering wounds on her face, but her skin was bluish-black, and you could still tell what she looked like before she was born.
This young female zombie was different from those mindless zombies that rushed over at the mere smell of humans. She stood at the entrance of a shop not far away, coldly watching them with her cloudy, red eyes.
The zombie girl seemed to have noticed Achu's gaze and looked at her.
Then, she tugged at the corners of her lips, revealing a ferocious, stiff smile.
Recently, some active systems have been informing Achu: "Host, this is a Tier 3 zombie with strength-based abilities."
Achu raised her eyebrows.
A level 3 strength-based zombie, pretty powerful.
The crystal nucleus in its brain is quite tempting.
Achu glanced at Lin Xiangheng and the others, who were protecting Dr. Wang while also taking care of her, and silently apologized in her heart.
Then, she took an opportunity to pretend that she was scared by the zombie horde and forced to separate from Lin Xiangheng and the others.
She bent down and moved quickly toward the store.
Lin Xiangheng and the others only had time to hear A Chu exclaim in surprise before they could no longer see her when they turned around.
"Little Mianmian!"
Everyone was shocked.
Maiya instinctively went to find Achu, but Lin Xiangheng stopped her.
Lin Xiangheng's face was very pale, but reason told him that if A Chu was overwhelmed by zombies, even if he went to find her now, she would have already been bitten by zombies.
They can't all die here.
Lin Xiangheng's eyes were slightly red as he gritted his teeth and said, "Keep moving forward!"
The others, their eyes red, fought even harder to kill the zombies.
After parting ways with Lin Xiangheng and the others, Achu quickly arrived at the store.
The zombie girl who was just in front of the store has vanished without a trace.
But it doesn't matter, Ah Chu is sure it's in the store.
The zombie girl possesses a strength-based superpower, as does Achu.
Therefore, Achu believed that, in the eyes of the zombie girl, she was a more alluring being than an ordinary human.
Indeed, that is the case.
The zombie girl looked at Achu as if she were looking at a delicious meal that had been delivered to her door.
She hid behind the shelves inside the store, watching Ah Chu approach.
Even though it's a high-level zombie, its thinking ability is still much worse than that of a human.
If the zombie girl were a little smarter, she should have waited for Ah Chu to get a little closer before attacking.
However, Ah Chu's food smelled so good, it was like a feast placed in front of an extremely hungry person.
The zombie girl couldn't hold back and charged out with a low growl.
It is much faster than a regular zombie. If it were someone else in front of it, they would probably have their neck bitten off before they could even react.
But Ah Chu was prepared and reacted quickly.
She raised her axe and swung it at the girl zombie as it pounced on her.
"Roar!"
Achu's axe was aimed at the zombie girl's head, but it was dodged.
Her axe veered off course and struck the zombie girl's arm.
Achu was strong, but the body of a third-tier zombie was even tougher. Her axe chopped off half of the girl zombie's arm, which hung there swaying precariously.
The zombie felt no pain; it merely glanced down before continuing its ferocious attack on Achu.
Achu took several steps back, simultaneously knocking over the shelf next to her to block the zombie girl.
But this won't stop the zombie girl for long; she'll simply use her still-intact hand to flip the shelf over.
Ah Chu continued to knock over the shelves, leading the zombie girl around the store in circles.
At the same time, she took advantage of this brief moment to take out some fruit knives, kitchen knives, screwdrivers and other items she had collected before, enhanced them all with her metal-type superpowers, and threw them at the zombie girl.
Ah Chu had practiced throwing darts and had pretty good aim; every dart she threw hit the zombie girl.
The screwdriver pierced one of the zombie girl's eyes, leaving it stuck in her eye socket.
The zombie girl was clearly enraged by Achu.
It let out a series of roars, different from the ones before.
Achu paused, a guess forming in his mind.
She turned to look at the store entrance and sure enough, she saw several zombies turn to look at her and then walk towards her.
Achu lowered his eyes, knowing that it was time to finish this quickly.
She stopped circling around the zombie girl and instead went to meet her.
Before the zombies reached Achu, the sharp axe cleaved open the girl zombie's head.
The zombie girl, riddled with wounds, lay motionless on the ground.
No one noticed that as the girl zombie died, the zombies paused for a second or two.
Then, drawn by the human scent and sounds, they rushed toward those people.
Ah Chu dealt with the zombies that entered the store first, and then went to dig out the crystal core from the girl zombie's brain.
She then removed the knives and other weapons from the zombie girl's body and stored them in her spatial storage.
Achu was about to leave the store to find Lin Xiangheng and the others.
But as soon as she reached the door, she saw Song Jiahe and the others heading towards the store.
Achu quickly retreated and put away the axe in his hand.
She had just hidden behind the cashier when Song Jiahe and the others came in.
Upon seeing Achu, Song Jiahe was also taken aback.
What are you doing here?
Song Jiahe remembered that A Chu was with Lin Xiangheng and the others. Could it be that they got separated?
When Achu saw her, a look of surprise and delight appeared on her face: "Sister Jiahe!"
"I...I just got separated from Brother Lin and the others..."
