Prince Ning ran while looking back. A quarter of an hour later, he stopped. There was a cliff in front of him; there was no path left. He couldn't run anymore…
"run?"
Do you think you can escape?
When Prince Ning heard Luo Xi's voice, he turned around and saw her.
How did she catch up so quickly?
He glanced at Luo Xi, then at the bottomless cliff in front of him.
He hesitated.
Finally, he took two steps back in fear.
Then, he turned around and looked in fear at Luo Xi, the man in black who was following him closely not far away.
He looked at the blood-stained sword in Luo Xi's hand; the blood on the sword had not yet congealed...
Prince Ning hadn't expected this assassin to be so skilled; even over twenty highly skilled guards couldn't stop her alone. He swallowed hard, his heart filled with dread. Forcing himself to remain calm, he asked, "Who sent you to hunt me down?"
He tried to stall for time, so he pretended to negotiate, saying, "I am Prince Ning, I have plenty of money, I can give you as much as you want. I have no grudge against you, can you let me go this time?"
She became an assassin just for the bounty, didn't she?
He has little else but plenty of money.
He was frantic. Could the other guards and bodyguards come quickly? Otherwise, he might really perish here.
Luo Xi didn't reply to him. She took her sword and strode towards Prince Ning.
When Prince Ning saw Luo Xi walking towards him, he was so startled that he took a step back, tripped over a rock, and nearly fell off the cliff...
He steadied himself with all his might, then patted his chest, glanced back, and seeing the bottomless cliff, dared not retreat any further.
He looked at Luo Xi and shouted, "You... don't come any closer."
"You can tell me what you want. As long as I have it, I will give it to you, as long as you spare my life."
"Ah!" Before Prince Ning could finish speaking, Luo Xi pierced his chest with a sword.
Luo Xi smiled faintly and said casually, "What I want is your life."
Having said that, she drew her sword, and Prince Ning's blood splattered all over the ground...
Prince Ning knelt on the ground with a thud. He lowered his eyes and looked at the wound on his chest in disbelief.
His blood dripped onto the ground, drop by drop...
Is he... is he about to die?
Prince Ning looked up at Luo Xi, "Who...who sent you to hunt me down?"
With a swift movement of her sword, Luo Xi severed Prince Ning's head.
Looking at the corpse of Prince Ning, Luo Xi said coldly, "The dead don't need to know so much."
Luo Xi kicked Prince Ning's corpse off the cliff, then, carrying his head, she left without looking back.
