Chapter 3 Killer 3
Killer's Pavilion.
Luo Xi returned after completing her mission. When Lao Liu saw her, he rushed to her side and asked, "Seventeen, did you take on the mission to assassinate the Princess?"
Luo Xi nodded, then asked in confusion, "I answered it, what's wrong?"
Sixth Brother: "Seventeenth Brother, do you know? Thirteenth Brother, that stubborn mule, he likes the Eldest Princess."
"Six months ago, Thirteen was seriously injured while assassinating Prince Su. At that time, the Eldest Princess happened to pass by and saw it. Because she and Prince Su had always been at odds, she saved him."
“I can tell that Thirteen really likes that princess. Tell me, with his personality, if he knew you killed the princess, wouldn’t he fight you to the death when he returned from his mission?”
"Oh no, speak of the devil and he appears."
The sixth brother patted his mouth and said, "Is this mouth of mine a jinx?"
He was afraid that the two most powerful assassins in the Assassin's Guild would face off.
He patted Luo Xi on the shoulder, "Seventeen, wait here, I'll go find the Pavilion Master to help you."
Luo Xi: "Okay, go ahead."
Sixth Brother rushed towards the old master's residence, fearing that if he was too late, Seventeenth Brother would be dead.
Thirteen's dark eyes were fixed on Luo Xi. "Why did you kill her?"
Luo Xi rolled her eyes, utterly speechless. "That was a mission I accepted, of course I have to complete it. Should I not kill her, or treat her like a sacred object?"
"Did you accept the mission but not complete it? Thirteen, have you forgotten that you're an assassin?"
"Besides, since you like her, why don't you stay by her side all the time and protect her?"
Upon hearing this, Thirteen drew his sword and immediately engaged Luo Xi in combat. Their martial arts skills were evenly matched, and the fight was evenly matched.
However, Thirteen was still no match for Luo Xi.
Luo Xi's attack was fast and ruthless, while Thirteen's attack was fast, but he lacked a certain ruthlessness.
He lacked that one ruthless edge, which destined him to lose to Luo Xi.
A quarter of an hour later, Luo Xi stabbed Thirteen in the left shoulder with her sword. Thirteen endured the pain and continued fighting Luo Xi.
Just then, the old pavilion master arrived.
Seeing Thirteen and Seventeen locked in a fierce battle, he shouted, "Thirteen, Seventeen, you two, stop right there!"
Upon hearing the old sect leader's voice, Luo Xi didn't stop moving for a moment. Pretending not to hear him, she slashed her sword straight through Thirteen's throat, blood splattering everywhere...
Old Pavilion Master: !!!
Was she doing it on purpose?
Sixth Brother: !!!
Wow, his little seventeen is amazing.
Inside the main hall.
Luo Xi: "Sect Master, it was Thirteen. He attacked me for some princess. If he hadn't attacked, I wouldn't have accidentally killed him..."
Old Pavilion Master: ? ? ?
A slip-up? He doesn't believe her for a second.
“I accepted the mission, so I had to complete it. So I went and killed the eldest princess. When the thirteenth prince returned, he drew his sword against me and blamed me for killing the eldest princess.”
“Master, it was Thirteen who struck first, so if I accidentally killed him, he deserved it.”
Old Pavilion Master: ..........
What could he say? She's right.
He coughed twice, pretending to cough, "Then you can't do that next time."
"Yes, Master, it won't happen again."
Luo Xi thought to herself:
She was just saying it. If someone does that again, she will still kill them without mercy. Why would she let them kill her?
Inside the palace.
The third princess sat by the window, listlessly gazing at the flowers outside.
The Third Princess was confined to her quarters because the Emperor suspected that she was involved in the death of the Eldest Princess.
It's truly a miscarriage of justice! She really wanted the Princess and Prince Ning dead, but she wouldn't be so stupid as to have both of them killed at the same time!
If it were her, she would have someone kill Prince Ning first, and then, after some time, have someone kill the Eldest Princess.
Her father was too biased. He knew perfectly well that the eldest princess and the Prince of Ning were having an affair, yet he turned a blind eye to it.
Isn't she his daughter? Can't he just order the annulment of her engagement with Prince Ning? Hmph, he's afraid, afraid of affecting the reputation of the Eldest Princess.
