Chapter 432: Strategy for the Spiritual Magician (6)

"Is there no other way?" Emil kept murmuring.

"Yes." The Spiritual Magician looked at the direction where she was standing tenderly, and that tenderness seemed to want to drown her whole body. But Emil knew that this tenderness was not for him. It was not until a long time later that Emil understood what the method he was talking about was.

"She is beautiful, isn't she?" She looked at the girl sleeping quietly on the sofa, her eyes were gentle, she walked towards her without a trace of fear and gently tidied her messy hair, muttering something that only she and she understood.

The Spiritual Magician looked at the girl lying on the sofa through the window. She was indeed beautiful. Her face was pink, just like the pink bell flowers that were still blooming outside the window. Her long eyelashes were slightly closed, casting a faint shadow on her face. Her tall nose was still so straight and her lips were so bright red, as if she was just asleep.

"When you came here, you had nothing. In a blink of an eye, we have been friends for such a long time." Emil held her white wrist and whispered softly in her ear, as if she was just asleep.

"You are always so capable, beautiful, and have a good personality. Do you know that many young people in the town have a crush on you?" Emil laughed softly and couldn't help touching his hot face. "You know, when I was a teenager, I envied you. I envied you for being secretly loved by so many boys. But as I grew up, I didn't envy you anymore, because none of those boys were loyal."

There was no emotion on the face of the spirit magician. Of course, his face was covered by the mask and no emotion could be seen. He just looked at the sleeping girl on the sofa absent-mindedly, with a drowning tenderness in his eyes. He stood quietly outside the window, temporarily acting as Emil's listener.

"You are so good, so good that sometimes I can't help but be jealous of you, but you are so good to me, so good that there is no one else in the world who can treat me so well. Whenever I am jealous of you, you will make all kinds of delicious food for me, and then I forget my jealousy. Sometimes I wonder if you have known my jealousy of you for a long time, so you will try all kinds of ways to coax me." Emil raised her hand and gently kissed the back of her hand, but he couldn't help it, and crystal tears dripped down the back of her hand.

Emil couldn't help but scold her, "Are you stupid? That's the black death monster. You are just an ordinary person. What can you do? Your life is lost, but no one in the town remembers you. Is it worth sacrificing your life for a group of people who are destined to forget you?"

The eyes of the spirit magician standing outside the window dimmed for a moment. He wanted to tell Emil about Shi Yi's bravery, innocence and integrity. Shi Yi stood up to help him because she loved the residents of the town from the bottom of her heart, and it was definitely not for people to remember. But the next sentence Emil said made him sad.

"You must be very lonely. You are always alone. You smile every day, smiling at everyone you meet, but you are so bleak when you are alone. I really regret not being with you for too long. I should have told you directly that there is a person who loves you for so long. He always looks at you secretly, but doesn't let you notice. He always accompanies you silently without saying a word. If you knew this when you were alive, would you feel more at ease?"

The spirit magician turned his bracelet, and his memory suddenly went back to a long time ago when he was still a child. At that time, he was carefree and happy holding hands with a little girl of the same age, singing and jumping, as if nothing in the world would make them unhappy. Later, he left the town and became a spirit magician after traveling to many places. When he grew up and became a spirit magician, he also completely lost the little girl and no longer felt happy. Later, he came here and fell in love with a girl who passed by by chance in the town at first sight, and he decided to stay.

He was very happy every day in the town. He always watched her from a very long distance, watching her leave home, watching her go to the market to buy things, watching her go to the bookstore, watching her talk to her good friends, watching her smile at others. Later, he finally got bold and asked her good friend about her. With an excuse, he made up his mind to go to her house to find her, even though he already knew where she lived.

Unfortunately, fate played tricks on him, and he still couldn't keep her in the end.

"Aren't you a spirit magician? You can kill the black death monster, so why can't you revive her again?" Emil's eyes suddenly stopped on him, eager to get a positive answer. The

spirit magician smiled and took off his mask in front of her. Emil

opened his mouth wide, as if he couldn't believe it. But he smiled.

"To be precise, I have changed the fate of the town once. This is the price I paid." He put the mask back on by himself, and only Emil could see clearly that the face under his mask was covered with hideous scars covering all his facial features.

"My spiritual magic will gradually decline as I age. When I am completely old, the spiritual magic will disappear, and I will not be able to keep her." He touched his cheek distressedly, and soon realized that his cheek was blocked by the mask.

"But I will not give up." There was tenderness in his eyes, "As long as I live, she will not disappear from the town. She is so good, so good that everyone cares about her. I will let her continue to live without worries. But I beg you devoutly." His eyes turned to Emil, with an unyielding plea, "I beg you devoutly not to tell her about my existence. I don't want her to know all this. I just hope she will be worry-free forever."

Emil was so shocked.

She never thought that the spiritual magician could give so much to mankind. She nodded heavily in the other's pleading eyes.

"Go home. When you wake up tomorrow, the town will be different again. But only you can find the changes in the town." The spiritual magician finally stepped into the hut.

Emil left here almost like running away. Not because of the fear of the unknown, but because of the joy that was about to come. After returning home, she took two melatonin pills, set numerous alarms, and finally covered her eyes with a blanket and fell into a deep sleep.

In the hut, the magician gently drew the face of the girl in his arms. He wanted to give her all the good things in the world. This wish would soon come true.
