After dealing with the emperor, Su Yan tried to stand up.
He had no strength left in his body and could barely maintain his standing posture.
She pursed her lips and looked again at the emperor covered in blood.
Little Red wandered in an S-shape until it came to Su Yan, still wearing its white cloak on its head.
Hiss hiss hiss hiss
Su Yan reached out and took the cloak, draped it over her shoulders, and immediately felt exhausted after doing just that simple action.
She hung her head, looking somewhat dejected.
How are we going to get back?
Just then, a chaotic commotion suddenly came from outside.
The noise wasn't loud, but because the room was quiet, it could be faintly heard.
The next second, there was a loud bang.
The door was kicked open.
Led by Nan Tang, a group of black-clad guards appeared at the entrance.
Following them, they lined up in two rows, and Xuanyuan Yonghao strode in.
His face was frighteningly cold.
His eyes held a chilling, menacing glint; a single glance sent a shiver down one's spine.
When he saw the dozen or so snakes slithering on the ground raising their heads warily at them, he raised an eyebrow.
His fierce aura actually lessened somewhat.
His gaze swept over the blood-soaked, unrecognizable human body on the ground.
Then he looked at Su Yan, who was sitting by the bed.
Her eyes were moist, and a look of happiness appeared on her face when she saw Xuan Yuan Yong Hao appear.
Beside Su Yan stood a snake, black and red striped, as thick as an arm.
Looking closely... it looks somewhat familiar.
The snake seemed to recognize Xuanyuan Yonghao. When it saw him, it hissed, flicked its red tongue, and glared at him with its two lantern-like eyes, trying to intimidate him.
It seemed they were trying to scare him.
Xuanyuan Yonghao stepped inside, but Nan Tang reached out to stop him.
Your Highness
Nothing happened.
As soon as he finished speaking, Xuanyuan Yonghao walked into the pile of snakes.
He walked past the snakes to the bedside and approached Su Yan.
He looked down at her, his face devoid of any smile, his gaze fixed on her with a chilling intensity.
"You won't listen to what I say?"
Su Yan was taken aback at first, then she remembered that before he left this afternoon, he had told her not to leave that courtyard, and that no matter who came to invite her, she had to wait until he returned.
But... but... she had long forgotten about it.
Su Yan lowered her head, as if she had done something wrong.
"I...I forgot."
Xiao Hua wanted to go out too, she really wanted to go out, but she never imagined that the emperor would hurt her.
Because Su Yan was standing by the bed, her cloak was only draped over her shoulders. With her head down, she tugged at her sleeve and moved, causing the cloak she had just put on to fall onto the bed.
Then... Su Yan, dressed in a red silk dress, her figure alluringly revealed, appeared before Xuan Yuan Yong Hao's eyes.
The next second, Xuan Yuan Yonghao's face darkened.
His voice was even angrier than before.
Turn your head around!
All the guards behind him, including those from the Southern Tang, turned around and refused to look inside again.
As he spoke, he took off his outer robe.
Su Yan thought he was talking to her and was about to turn her head when he covered her completely with his outer robe.
He picked her up in his arms around the waist.
Su Yan looked on expectantly, her eyes glistening with tears.
Xuanyuan Yonghao glanced at her.
"Did you deliberately dress so provocatively to seduce Father Emperor?"
He was practically gritting his teeth as he spoke.
All grace and gentleness vanished.
Su Yan quickly shook her head.
"It was an old man who told me to wear this to receive a reward..."
As she spoke, her voice lowered.
She didn't think much of it when she did it.
But now that I think about it, it seems like there are many loopholes.
