She had just peeled off half of the candy coating, revealing the soft, white milk candy inside.
Then I heard Su Jiuci's cool voice.
"Your tastes are certainly unique."
Su Yan looked up and noticed that after Su Jiuci's eyes swept over her, they kept staring at the candy in her hand.
She paused in her eating, then took two steps closer to him.
She reached out and brought her hand to his lips.
"Do you want to eat?"
Su Jiuci lowered her head and glanced at the gummy candy.
Then look at Su Yan, who has a serious expression on her face.
The words that were on the tip of his tongue lingered, and he didn't say them.
Su Yan, on the contrary, stuffed the candy into his mouth.
Su Jiuci bit into the candy, the sticky taste of strawberry milk filling her mouth.
He had just eaten it when he felt like vomiting the next second.
It's both sweet and cloying.
Su Yan smiled faintly, her eyes shining as she looked at him earnestly.
"If you want to eat it in the future, you can tell me."
After all, I can't understand what you mean just because you stare at my candy every time.
Su Jiu declined and remained silent.
I had thought that at least he would panic when he saw me.
After all, he did kiss himself that day.
But to my surprise, things remained exactly the same as before.
They acted as if nothing had happened.
Su Jiuci had many thoughts on his mind.
As he stared at the person in front of him, deep in thought.
Nearby, heart-wrenching screams and wails could be heard.
Originally, because we were far away, we couldn't hear it very clearly.
But gradually, the sound became clearer.
That wasn't a wail; it was a cry for help.
Judging from the voice, it's a woman.
Moreover... it wasn't just one, it was the shouts of three or five women.
The sobbing was very sorrowful and desperate.
Yet it kept shouting for help, begging for its life.
Coincidentally, they ran in the same direction as Su Yan and Su Jiuxi were standing.
Su Yan's gaze was drawn to the figure running towards her in a disheveled state.
Those people were dressed in very little clothing, in silk and satin, with flowing black hair, and barefoot, running on the grass.
Moreover, as you get closer to these people, you'll find that each of them is very good-looking. While they may not be stunningly beautiful, they are certainly pretty.
But now, that beautiful face is dominated by fear and despair.
It has become...so fragile.
As you get closer, you can see it more and more clearly.
Three women were running barefoot on the grass.
Their feet were covered in mud and blood, yet they kept running.
Look closely, and you'll see something hanging on their chests.
It was a plaque, a crisp jade plaque, with a number written on it.
The numbers for these three are 2, 5, and 17.
Although Su Yan couldn't understand what this meant, she could read their eyes.
It was as if there were vicious wolves behind them, and they avoided them like the plague, to the point of being terrified.
Then, Su Yan heard a man laughing and cursing.
"Let me see where those sluts have gone."
A rickshaw pulled by human hands was being pushed forward by the driver, while the man on the rickshaw laughed wildly.
Behind the man was a group of lackeys serving him.
One of them was holding a pile of jade tablets, at least thirty in total.
The jade pendant was stained with blood; at first glance, it looked like blood jade.
One of the lackeys was frightening; he spotted the remaining three people at a glance.
He quickly spoke up
"Uncle Cao, there he is! He's over there!"
