Xiaohua had never known that palace intrigue could be so dangerous.
Su Yan listened, then looked up at the snake.
The snake seemed to sense something, and was somewhat restless, wanting to get closer, but it also seemed to be afraid of something and dared not go over.

Then, when the snake's head approached the fair hand, it simply extended its red forked tongue and licked the pale yellow powder off Su Yan's hand.
The next second, he obediently placed his inner lining into Su Yan's hands.
In front of the red and black snake, Su Yan took a bite of the inner lining.
The black blood and bitter taste immediately spread in my mouth.
