Chapter 446: Promoting Education and Enlightening People (2)

Towards the city, Peach Blossom Lane.

Xin Guoguo walked slowly through the alley.

Listen to the laughter in the alley, the children's fighting, and the ringing of bicycle bells passing by.

Listen to the "clacking" sound of your high heels walking on the bluestone path that had just rained.

She looked around, her eyes softly passing over the children's faces.

Xiangcheng is so lively at this moment!

"Ding-ling-ling! Ding-ling-ling!"

A series of bicycle bells came from behind.

Xing Guoguo leaned slightly sideways and stood by the road, waiting for the bicycle to pass in front of her.

The wind blew through her long hair.

She raised her hand and tucked a strand of hair that had blown into her face behind her ear.

When I looked up again, I heard a "bang" and a person fell heavily to the ground.

“Ouch!”

He wailed.

Then, there was a scolding from an auntie:

"You little bastard, you're riding a bike without even looking at your eyes! Look at this! No matter how pretty the girl is, can she be as pretty as you?!"

As he spoke, he grabbed the young man's ear and shouted into the alley:

"Long Wazi, push your brother's car back!"

A thin and small boy walked out from the entrance of the alley.

When he saw the aunt pulling his brother's ears, he pretended not to see it.

He lifted the car and grinned at the aunt:

"Auntie, what delicious food did you cook today? I'm so drunk!"

The aunt laughed and scolded him:

"You're the only one with a sharp nose! You're the only one with a good mouth! I made some chicken soup, and you could smell it! It's for your mother's milk production! You greedy bastard! Bring the bowl over later, and I'll scoop some water out of the pot for you. There's no more!"

The boy's mouth widened, and he pushed the cart and ran quickly:

"Hey! Thank you, Auntie! I'll be there right away!"

There is chicken soup to drink!

Even though it's just water from the pot, it's still shiny!

The young man kept swallowing his saliva, his brows dancing with joy.

The aunt turned her head and immediately changed her face to a gentle one, speaking in somewhat broken Mandarin:

"Don't be afraid, little girl. This rascal means no harm. Go home quickly. This alley is so noisy!"

Xin Guoguo nodded slightly at her and replied in the same dialect:

"Thank you, Auntie. I'm not afraid at all. You're so awesome!"

When the aunt heard her speaking in dialect, her smile grew wider:

"Oh! It's our Xiangcheng girl! Our Xiangcheng girls are always brave!"

The aunt is good at chatting.

He insisted on talking to Xin Guoguo for half a minute.

He never let go of the hand that was twisting the young man's ear.

The young man didn't dare to say anything and could only grimace.

This made Xin Guoguo couldn't help laughing.

Seeing that Xin Guoguo didn't dislike them at all, she even invited Xin Guoguo to visit her home!

Xin Guoguo quickly declined:

"It's getting late, and I have to get home quickly. My dad keeps people at home very close to me."

My aunt slapped her thigh:

"Yes! You are such a pretty girl, but you have to be careful! Go home quickly! Is your home far away? How about asking Dalong to take you there?"

Xing Guoguo waved her hand:

"No, no, Auntie, my home is not far away. It's just outside the alley."

Only then did her aunt feel relieved and let her go home quickly.

He even watched Xin Guoguo leave the alley before twisting the young man's ear and walking to the other side:

"You idiot! Your parents are gone, can you behave like a human being?! And you're still looking at a girl! You're riding a bike, are you trying to kill yourself?"

The young man bent his knees and followed his aunt, crying out "Ouch, ouch," but he also admitted his mistake:

"I'm wrong! Auntie, please let go! My ears are about to fall off!"

Seeing the pain on his face, the aunt quickly let go.

Seeing the young man rubbing his ears, he couldn't help but slap him and glared at him:

"Remember this next time! You still have two younger brothers!"

The young man hurriedly apologized with a smile, put his hands on his aunt's shoulders, and pushed her back to the yard:

"I'll remember that! Auntie, please go home quickly! Smell the rice on your stove, it's almost burnt!"

My aunt sniffed her nose, not knowing whether she could smell the burnt smell.

But she remembered the chicken soup she was still cooking on the stove and hurriedly called out:

"Ouch! My chicken soup!"

He shook off the young man's hand and ran into the yard.

The young man smiled and waved at her, not caring whether her aunt saw him or not:

"Auntie, I'm going back first!"

The auntie waved her hands impatiently: "Get lost!"

The young man had an unruly smile on his face.

He casually picked up a piece of foxtail grass from the wall, put it in his mouth, and bounced his feet on it.

From time to time, he would reach out and pat the head of the little kid who ran over, then go back home.

But as soon as he entered the yard, the smile on his face disappeared immediately.

He closed the gate and walked quickly towards the room.

In the yard, Long Waer parked his bicycle against the wall and then went to chop firewood.

Seeing his brother coming back, he quickly followed him:

"elder brother."

"Long Waer, guard the door."

After just five words, the boy's face immediately became serious.

He squatted down and sat next to his brother's door, looking around as if bored, but in fact he was observing whether anyone was approaching.

And in the house.

The young man walked to the back of the house and pulled the heavy curtain between the two cabinets.

Then he turned on the light and sat down on the edge of the bed.

He pulled a slip of paper from his pocket and unfolded it.

He took out a dictionary from under his pillow, compared the words one by one, and wrote the corresponding words on a piece of paper.

"September 30th, 8:15 pm, Shunchang Commercial Bank."

A hint of joy flashed across the young man's eyes, and then he lit the note with an oil lamp.
