Gusts of cold wind blew by, and the red lanterns hanging under the eaves swayed gently, adding a touch of warmth to this cold winter day.
A cold wind blew, rolling up the snowflakes on the ground and forming a small vortex.
In a teahouse on the corner of the street, steam was rising. Some people were sitting inside, drinking hot tea, chatting about family matters, and bursts of laughter could be heard from time to time.
Xin Guoguo looked up at the sky and said, "I don't know when this snow will stop."
Jiangnan Ge smiled and comforted her:
"It's okay. We're not in a hurry to leave. We can just stay here for a few more days. This snow can't stop forever."
Xin Guoguo nodded: "Indeed. However, we have walked all the way and haven't seen a single inn. Could it be that we really need to stay in an inn?"
She didn't want to stay in an inn.
The facilities inside are similar to those outside.
But the people in the post house were all officials, and she might encounter officials staying overnight, which she found troublesome.
"There should be. I'll go to the teahouse and ask. There are so many people here, someone must know where the hotel is."
As he said that, he pulled Xin Guoguo into the steaming teahouse.
Someone at the table at the entrance of the teahouse immediately looked up:
"Hey! Brother, what are you doing? Come on, have some tea to warm your stomach."
As he spoke, he handed over the tea poured by the other person.
The tea was still steaming.
Jiang Nange smiled a little embarrassedly and reached out to take the teacup:
"Thank you, brother."
As he spoke, he handed the teacup to Xin Guoguo first, and continued to talk to his elder brother.
"Brother, I want to know if there's any place in our town where we can rest and stay. We've been walking all the way and haven't seen any."
