Fu Bai did not disturb them. He simply nodded to Ye Luan'an and then walked over to the sofa in the reception area and sat down.
Ye Luan'an's gaze lingered on Fu Bai for a moment before he looked away.
Then he gave Assistant Zhao a look.
Assistant Zhao understood; Ye Luan'an was annoyed that he was too slow and wanted him to speed things up.
Assistant Zhao immediately understood and quickened his pace, finishing his report several minutes faster than usual.
"Chairman Ye, there is a banquet tomorrow night. Would you like to attend alone or with a companion?" When he said "with a companion," Assistant Zhao glanced meaningfully at Fu Bai's location.
The banquet was a birthday celebration for an important elder of Ye Luan'an.
If he is willing to bring Fu Bai, it means that Fu Bai has a different meaning to him.
Assistant Zhao silently speculated in his mind.
