That was a mockery of Xiu's overestimation of his abilities.
Xiu thought that his unexpected attack would divert Fu Bai's attention, allowing him to escape.
However, just as he assumed a fleeing stance, before he could even move his feet, the energy that was striking Fu Bai suddenly turned around and surged rapidly towards Xiu's location.
In the next instant, an invisible energy transformed into a cage, enveloping Xiu within it with lightning speed.
“Tsk tsk,” Fu Bai shook his head lazily, “I really didn’t know you would be so incredibly stupid.”
Fu Bai has already said that he has absolute control over this world.

However, once those energy tentacles entered Xiu's body, they turned into suction cups, rapidly absorbing the energy within him.
Outwardly, Xiu was just twitching. It was impossible to tell exactly what was wrong with him.
