Chapter 28

Chapter 28

Although he stayed up very late last night, Ye Yan's biological clock still made him wake up on time.

He looked down at Qin Su, whom he was holding tightly in his arms, and saw her sleeping peacefully like a contented ragdoll cat. A smile appeared in his eyes.

Qin Su is usually arrogant and unrestrained, like a thorny rose that pricks people, but at certain special moments, she also has a docile and vulnerable side.

Moreover, it is precisely because the latter is not visible to outsiders that it is easier to cause one's blood to surge and become difficult to control.

Thinking of this, he couldn't help but look at Qin Su's wrist.

Even though he was careful enough, her skin was too delicate, and it still left a deep red mark.

The marks left by the tie stood out starkly against her fair skin.

Ye Yan frowned, released his arm from Qin Su's waist, and quietly got out of bed.

He took out a tube of ointment from his home medicine cabinet and carefully applied it to Qin Su.

"Hmm..." The ointment was slightly cool, and Qin Su could feel it when it was suddenly applied to her warm skin.

She instinctively tried to pull her hand back, but Ye Yan gently grabbed it.

"No, there's ointment on your wrist." He knew Qin Su wasn't fully awake yet, so he coaxed her softly, "It'll be fine soon."

Qin Su's eyelashes trembled. She opened her eyes, glanced at him, and closed them again, saying sleepily, "They're all bruised."

Her voice was low and a little hoarse, sounding less like a complaint and more like a coquettish plea.

"Not just his hand." Qin Su muttered as she grabbed his hand, reaching straight down to his inner thigh. "And here, here... you've bruised them all over."

Ye Yan's throat tightened.

He quickly looked away, feeling somewhat guilty, and said, "It's my fault. I'll apply the medicine for you. Don't go out today; stay home and rest."

Qin Su snorted: "Now you know it was your fault? Weren't you yelling at me so confidently last night?"

Ye Yan: "..."

He really didn't expect that she would still be thinking about this matter after a whole night.

He had intended to repeat what he had said the night before, explaining again, "I didn't yell at you."

However, seeing Qin Su's still sleepy and dazed expression, yet still pretending to hold a grudge, he changed his mind before speaking, saying, "...It was my fault."

Qin Su: "What did you do wrong?"

"..." Ye Yan reluctantly took the blame, "I shouldn't have yelled at you."

As soon as he said it, he felt a pang of sadness.

From the time he can remember until now, all the "I was wrong" he ever said was directed at Qin Su.

That's bad enough, but now he's being forced to admit his mistakes even when he's completely innocent.

Qin Su is a truly malicious person. She simply cannot accept the explanation that "I didn't yell at you." She believes that if you did it, then all you need to do is apologize.

He was thinking about "you advance, I retreat" yesterday, which is just wishful thinking. Qin Su always advances and never retreats.

"Why didn't you say so earlier?" Qin Su laughed and reached out to pull him. "Stop applying it, come up here."

Ye Yan was worried that her hand was hurting, so he didn't let her exert any force and followed her movements: "What's wrong? Is there anything else that's uncomfortable?"

"No." Qin Su snatched the ointment and threw it aside, then went to pull at his robe. "The early bird catches the worm. Don't waste the early morning."

"You...how could you..." Ye Yan was taken aback.

He remembered that she had kept saying no before, so why was she suddenly being so proactive now?

Qin Su bit his chin and then slowly caressed it with her lips.

Her gaze was like a raging fire hidden in a dark abyss: "Ye Yan, you don't know, I love the way you obediently lower your head."

Like an untamed beast, it bit the rope and handed it to the hunter.

How could she not be excited?

Ye Yan was taken aback, not yet understanding her meaning, when Qin Su began to fidget.

He hurriedly grabbed Qin Su's hand, saying cautiously, "You're still injured..."

Qin Su scoffed: "What kind of injury is that?"

"Besides..." Her eyes flickered, and she narrowed her gaze slightly as she leaned closer to Ye Yan, "Don't you like it? Don't you want to mark me?"

Ye Yan paused, his breathing suddenly becoming heavier, as if she had seen through his secret thoughts.

Qin Su chuckled.

She grabbed the blanket and covered the two of them again.

"Stop talking nonsense and hurry up!"
