The rich aroma of medicine spread with the heat, filling the air.

The old woman didn't hide anything, "It's an abortifacient."

"You lot, hold her down and force the medicine down her throat," the nanny instructed the maids behind her.
Several people rushed forward.
Xiangzhu hurriedly went to greet her. She was specially left by Lu Zhao to protect Gu Chaoxi. Her kung fu was naturally not bad, and she could fight four people at once without any effort.
Gu Chaoxi pulled out the whip she always carried for self-defense and lashed it at the old woman.
The whip whistled through the air, and the medicine bowl in the old woman's hand fell to the ground, spilling its dark broth all over the floor.
"Get out! No one is allowed to touch the child in my belly!"

The old woman received a solid lash from the whip, and looking at the other palace maids beside her, who were all lying on the ground groaning in pain, she could only leave dejectedly and go back to complain to the emperor.
