Xie Changyu took off his mask. He looked somewhat similar to Xie Qinglan, but because he frequented brothels and indulged in women, his face was somewhat bloated, giving him an appearance of excessive indulgence.

As Xie Changyu spoke, he reached out his hand to Ye Chaoxi.
Ye Chaoxi rummaged through her spatial storage and found a packet of hallucinogenic powder and a silver needle with some unknown medicine attached.
She quickly rolled the silver needle in the hallucinogenic powder, and flung it out as Xie Changyu approached. Xie Changyu did not expect Ye Chaoxi to have a hidden weapon for self-defense, and was caught off guard and was pricked in the arm.
"You..." Xie Changyu reacted extremely quickly, pulling out the silver needle almost as soon as he was pricked.
"You bitch! What medicine did you put on the needle?" Xie Changyu raised his hand to slap her.
As soon as the slap was raised, Xie Changyu suddenly felt a weakness in his limbs and his whole body went limp.
Ye Chaoxi nimbly rolled to the side and dodged it.
Xie Changyu tried to grab her, but was interrupted by the noise outside the door.
Ye Chaoxi keenly heard Xie Qinglan's voice, and the next instant, the courtyard door was brute forcefully kicked open from the outside.
Xie Changyu was startled. Because he had been hit by the hallucinogenic powder on Ye Chaoxi's silver needles, his mind was starting to become a little confused. When he heard the noise, his first thought was not to jump out of the window to escape, but to go out and see what was going on.
He stormed out of the room in a fit of rage.

Xie Changyu regained some consciousness from the pain, and when he came to his senses, he found that it was Xie Qinglan who had barged in. His eyes were filled with fear as he looked at Xie Qinglan, "Big...Big Brother?!"
He may look down on Xie Qinglan, but when he actually faces the crazed Xie Qinglan alone, he is quite cowardly.
"Take him down."
Xie Qinglan's expression was icy. She turned her wheelchair with both hands, and the two wheelchairs spun very fast, passing Xie Changyu and heading into the house.
Zhuo Qing and his men quickly pinned Xie Changyu to the ground.
In the corner of the room, long before Xie Changyu left, Ye Chaoxi's eyes darted around, she quickly tore her clothes into a mess, took off her outer garment, curled up her knees and hugged herself tightly, blinking a few tears.
After Xie Qinglan entered, she heard soft, suppressed sobs coming from a small corner.
His heart suddenly ached.
"Ye Chaoxi." He changed direction and headed towards the direction from which the crying was coming.
Hearing the familiar voice, Ye Chaoxi slowly raised her eyes in disbelief, got up from the ground and threw herself into Xie Qinglan's arms. What was just a sob had turned into a loud cry of grievance.
"My husband, you've finally come! I was so scared... I was almost violated by that beast."
Tears fell incessantly onto Xie Qinglan's shoulder, soaking a large patch of fabric, and also falling on Xie Qinglan's heart.
While feeling heartbroken, he was also extremely relieved that he had arrived in time. He couldn't imagine how frantic he would have gone if she had been hurt!
Xie Qinglan placed her hand on her back, which was only covered by her inner garment, and soothed her by patting her back gently, her voice soft, "Don't be afraid, I'm here."

Ye Chaoxi tugged at Xie Qinglan's sleeve and said pitifully, "I want to go back."

Ye Chaoxi was shocked. She discovered that even though Xie Qinglan was blind, his sense of direction was exceptionally good. He didn't need anyone to push his wheelchair at all; he could navigate back the way he came using only the strength of one arm.
The alley was too narrow for the carriage to enter, so she let Xie Qinglan lead her to the alley entrance. Two guards stood watch beside the carriage, and when they saw the two finally come out, they took out a wooden frame with a ramp, placed it at the carriage door, and pushed the wheelchair up.
Throughout the journey, Ye Chaoxi nestled in Xie Qinglan's arms.
Upon returning to the Marquis's residence, she wiped all her tears on Xie Qinglan's clothes and said in a hoarse voice with a sob, "Thank you, Your Highness. I'll be going back now."
The words were full of distance, leaving Xie Qinglan bewildered.
