The man paused noticeably, then quickly and indifferently took the contract.
The man watched him casually flip through the contract.
I really don't know how he could see the words on the screen in such a dark room.
The sounds from outside continued.
"I have a way to get Jiang Qingyan to divorce you. Do you want to give it a try?"
"Tell me about it." It was clearly a girl's voice.
The man frowned, wanting to go out and chase them away, but the person opposite him stopped him.
"Mr. Xia, don't move, you're interfering with my reading of the contract."
The other person spoke in a calm voice, yet there was an invisible pressure emanating from them, causing President Xia to immediately sit up straight and behave properly.
The sounds continued to come from outside.
The girl said, "Your idea is great. Let's go find a place to have a good talk."
The boy replied, "There's a hotel next door, let's go there."
"Can."
The two gradually walked away.
Inside the private room, the contract slammed shut.
"Take it back and rewrite it."
The contract was thrown in front of him, and General Manager Xia quickly picked it up, asking cautiously, "Is there something wrong with it?"
"Nothing's right," the other person said coldly, then got up and left through the door of the lounge.
Mr. Xia held the contract, seemingly puzzled.
He hasn't even read a single page, so how come everything is wrong?
Mr. Xia scratched his already sparse hair with a sigh.
Xiao Kai followed Nan Zhi out of the restaurant and was about to head to the hotel next door when Nan Zhi stood still.
"Why aren't you leaving?"
"We are both public figures now, so it's not convenient for us to go in and out of the hotel together. You go first, I'll come back later."
"I forgot about that. What a hassle. I'll go up first, and you can come up in half an hour?"
"Okay, go ahead."
Xiao Kai happily headed towards the hotel next door.
Nanzhi watched his retreating figure and gave him a happy expression.
I want to sleep with her.
She's not pretty, but she has pretty high expectations.
She looked down and texted Daju.
Unbeknownst to her, a pair of deep, unseen eyes were silently watching her from a Bentley parked on the side of the road.
The coldness in his eyes only lessened slightly when he saw her leave in the nanny van.
Then, the screen of his phone, which was lying to the side, lit up.
As soon as Nanzhi got into the car, she sent a message to Jiang Qingyan.
Nan Zhi: [Jiang Qingyan, are you asleep?]
The reply came almost instantly.
Jiang Qingyan: [Not yet, is Zhizhi coming back yet?]
Nan Zhi: [Almost there, I'm on my way now.]
Jiang Qingyan: [Zhizhi, please be careful.]
Nan Zhi: [Jiang Qingyan, let me tell you, I met a really disgusting man. He actually tried to trick me into divorcing you. I'll have a good talk with him when I get back.]
Jiang Qingyan: [Okay.]
Nanzhi was about to put down her phone when the screen suddenly flickered.
It was a message from An Mu.
[Nanzhi, Brother Chang asked me to toast Director Qian, but something feels off. Could you come and take me away from here for a bit?]
Director Qian?
There was indeed such a person in the original owner's memories; he was quite lecherous.

"They said I looked too fierce and wouldn't let me in."

He patted him on the shoulder: "Looks like you're not destined to have a girlfriend."
The driver looked miserable: "Madam, you have to help me. Even ten-year-olds in our village have girlfriends. If I don't bring my girlfriend back to my hometown this year, they'll laugh me to death."
Nan Zhi got out of the car, crossed her arms, and walked forward with the air of a big sister: "Let's go, it's time for me to take action."

An Mu had already drunk several beers and felt a little drunk.
She glanced around; Brother Chang had left sometime earlier, while Director Qian's greasy hand kept reaching out to touch her.

She stood up and was about to walk out when Director Qian grabbed her waist and pulled her into his arms.
"There's a restroom in the private room. I'll go with you."
As he spoke, he put his arm around An Mu and headed towards the restroom in the back.
An Mu squirmed, trying to get rid of him: "Director Qian, isn't it inappropriate where you're putting your hand?"
Director Qian laughed, his breath reeking of alcohol, which was utterly disgusting: "They've all come so close, and you're still acting all high and mighty!"
As he spoke, he reached down and touched An Mu's buttocks.
An Mu felt a chill run down her spine and shoved him away abruptly.
"Don't touch me."
An Mu was a little tipsy at this point, and she stumbled as she walked outside.
"You filthy bitch!" Director Qian, who had been pushed down, got up from the ground, grabbed her hair, and dragged her towards the bathroom.
By this time, there was no one else in the private room.
