"Nanzhi, Su Yun is your friend. Aren't you afraid of retribution for slandering her like this?"
Nan Zhi pursed her lips: "I did not slander her."
Song You coldly said, "Fine, then let the police investigate. If it turns out you're the one who slandered her, I will definitely not let you off the hook."
"Also, Su Yun is missing now. You're the one who caused her to leave. You have to go find her."
Nan Zhi couldn't help but laugh when she saw Song You looking worried about Su Yun.
Even before he lost his memory, he was like this, clinging to his self-righteous sense of justice.
Now that he has amnesia, it's even worse.
"You still dare to laugh?"
Nan Zhi's lips curved into a deeper smile, her eyes filled with disappointment: "Song You, I can go to her, but I hope that after you remember everything, you won't regret it."
regret?
How could Song You possibly regret it...?
But watching Nanzhi walk out of the hospital, his head started to ache again.
Some images seemed to flash through my mind, vague and not very clear.
Nan Zhi did not go to find Su Yun.
Su Yun wanted to go find that old man, and of course she would grant her wish.
She wandered around outside for a while, and before Lin Ke could find her, she fainted.
I thought I would fall onto the grass, but instead I landed in a warm embrace.
A familiar scent wafted over me.
She leaned against that broad chest, and even without opening her eyes, she knew who it was.
Xu Min, it really is him.
With points to earn, Nanzhi obediently nestled in his arms, letting him carry her back to the hospital.
Nan Zhi "fainted" in the garden outside the hospital. Xu Min had just carried her out of the garden when they ran into Lin Ke.
Lin Ke exclaimed in surprise and told Xu Min to take Nan Zhi to the ward.
After Xu Min put Nan Zhi down, Lin Ke thanked him gratefully.
"Thank you so much for saving my cousin again. By the way, I still don't know your name."
"Xu Min."
Lin Ke nodded. "Xu Min, thank you. By the way, what are you doing at the hospital?"
Lin Ke had met Xu Min a few times because of Nan Zhi. She thought Xu Min was very handsome and had a kind of wild tension.
But he was, after all, a villager, and he was stern and never smiled, always looking like someone you wouldn't want to mess with.
Lin Ke needed to find out the details, fearing that he might have ulterior motives towards Nanzhi.
Xu Min replied coldly, "I brought my sister here for a checkup and just happened to see her faint."
He left after saying that, without even glancing at her.
Lin Ke followed them out and, sure enough, saw Xu Min and Xu Qingyuan undergoing a check-up. Only then did she realize that she had been judging others by her own petty standards.
When she returned to the ward, she heard from the doctor that Nanzhi had a fever, which made her so angry that she went to argue with Song You again.
"Song You, it's your business if you're blind to believe Su Yun, but you can't bully Nan Zhi. She likes you so much, and she's injured. You actually let her go to Su Yun. She has a fever now. Are you even human?"
Song You was taken aback when he heard that Nan Zhi had a fever.
Lin Ke cursed Song You again before storming off.
Just as I stepped outside, I ran into Cheng Zhouyuan, who was returning from buying food.
"Don't give it to Song You, he won't eat it."
She snatched Song You's share and gave it to Nan Zhi.
Cheng Zhouyuan looked completely bewildered.
When he went in, Cheng Zhouyuan laughed when Song You asked him who he was.
He pulled up a stool and began to ask Song You questions.
Do you know about Nam Gyi?
Song You frowned, clearly displeased.
Cheng Zhouyuan knew that he had forgotten about Nanzhi.
Song You's attitude toward Nan Zhi for so long made Cheng Zhouyuan somewhat unhappy.
He always felt that the two of them would end up together.
But now, he feels his opportunity has arrived.
On the third day of Nanzhi's hospitalization, Su Yun returned.
She was gone for two whole days.
When he came back, he seemed a little tired, his cheeks were red and swollen, as if he had been beaten up, and he was limping.
She told Song You that she had encountered human traffickers when she went out, and that the injuries on her body were caused by the traffickers. She said that if she hadn't been quick-witted, she would have been sold.
Song You was heartbroken at the time.
He gently comforted Su Yun, who was crying uncontrollably.
Nanzhi noticed the marks on Su Yun's neck from the side.
That didn't sound like being beaten up; it sounded more like being harassed...
Nan Zhi thought Su Yun was really capable; she even dared to kiss that old man.
"003, do you have any drugs that can make someone pregnant? I need one."
Song You was furious about Su Yun's actions. Just as he was about to confront Nan Zhi, he saw Nan Zhi carrying a glass of water and walking towards Su Yun.
"Yunyun, your lips look very dry and a little swollen. Drink some water to moisturize them."
Nan Zhi's gaze was meaningful, and her eyes kept lingering on Su Yun's neck.
Su Yun felt guilty, afraid that Song You would see through her. She didn't dare to let Song You stand up for her, so she pulled Song You away.
Nanzhi looked at the water in the cup and felt it was a pity, so she didn't let her drink the fertility potion.
But what does it matter?
She has plenty of ways to handle things.
When Nanzhi found Cheng Zhouyuan, he was at the nurses' station talking to a nurse about Nanzhi's situation.
He was very happy to hear that Nanzhi would be able to be discharged from the hospital in a few days.
He turned around and met Nanzhi.
Nanzhi handed him two drinks.
Cheng Zhouyuan was delighted, thinking it was for him, when he heard her say, "Cheng Zhouyuan, could you please help me deliver this to Song You and Su Yun?"
Nanzhi lowered her head. "They're all ignoring me. Maybe it really is my fault. I want to apologize to them..."
“Nanzhi, you did nothing wrong,” Cheng Zhouyuan comforted her. “I believe in you.”
